Chapter 13

After 1 week
Manan stayed in hospital with prerna.
She was recovering. After a week they took her to villa. Manik started taking care of prerna. Unknowingly he started neglecting nandini. Nandini felt hurt seeing them together but composed herself. Manik and prerna sat in garden & started chatting with each other.
Prerna started laughing. Nandu came their. She was stopped seeing them smiling happily.

N:-manik & prerna food is ready.

Ma:-coming nandu.

Manik helped prerna to dinning table.
Trio sat. Nandini served them food.

Pre:-manik feed me please.

Nandini clutched the glass tightly. Her phone rang at the same time.

N:-I will attend the call it's important.

Saying this nandini went away. After sometime she sat on terrace gazing at stars.
Manik came with food plate.

M:-nandu you didn't ate food, take this plate and finish it quickly.

N:-no manik am not hungry.

Manik sat beside her and forcefully opened her mouth and feeded her. Nandini stared at him lovingly, she soon came to reality. Nandu went to sleep with prerna.
Soon 1 month passed prerna is fully recovered thanks to manan's care.

Pr:-manik let's go outside.

M:-ok I will call nandini too.

Pr:-I want to talk with you about something. So I want to be alone with you.

M:-ok.

Manik informed nandini about going outside. Soon they went outside.
Nandini started packing her luggage.
She started writing something on paper.
She folded the letter and kept on table.
She took taxi and went to airport and boarded flight to India.
Soon manik and prerna reached home.
Manik searched for nandini everywhere but didn't found her. He saw the letter and opened.

' manik am sorry am going to india.
Now prerna is well. I think we should take divorce. You can marry prerna.
Don't worry I will convince our parents, I will be always your best friend'.

Manik tored the letter in pieces.

M:-oho divorce, I think my tigress is angry.
I have to be monify my lily put anger now.(smiling).

Pr:-manik what's in that letter.

Manik nodded he boarded next flight to india. After some hours he came to india.
He went to malhotra mansion.

M:-she didn't came home.

M:-mom I will bring your baby, am going somewhere, may be it will take some days to come.

He took his car and went to airport and boarded flight to Andra pradesh.

Next day
Nandini was sitting in garden in murthy house(in village). She was thinking about manik. Tears started pooling in her eyes.
She was about to wipe them but someone handed her tissues. She looked at the person and was shocked to see manik.

N:-what are you doing here.

M:-you said you will divorce me right, I came with divorce papers, sign it.
You don't have to worry I convinced our parents.(hidden anger).

N:-manik.(with teary eyes).

He pulled her closed to him.

M:-you want to divorce me huh, you want to leave me.(looking into her eyes).

Nandini avoided his eyes.

N:-woh prerna...

M:-looking into my eyes now nandini manik malhotra.(angrily).

Manik hugged tightly. After sometime nandini stopped crying.

N:-I thought you still love prerna.

M:-love(smiling) I don't think I ever loved prerna, I liked her, I trusted her, but at that time I don't know I loved her only as friend. When she left me it pained me because she broke my trust.
