They pulled up to the side of the road, Steve grabbed his key out of the ignition, turned the car off, and pushed open his door, pulling himself out of the car. He made his way towards the trunk and stuck the key into the lock, pulling the truck open.

Steve dug his keys into his front jean pocket and grabbed out three buckets of meat and two cans of gasoline. Lux was right behind him, pushing a gasoline can down into her backpack when Lucas sounded on Dustin's walkie

"Dustin... this is Lucas. Do you copy it? Dustin?"

"Well, well, well, look who it is." Dustin turned away from the trunk, Lux zipped her bag up and threw it around her shoulder and leaned down to grab the meat buckets handled in front of her.

"Sorry man, my stupid sister turned off my walkie."

"Well, when you were having sister problems, Dart grew again. He escaped, and im pretty sure he's a baby demogorgon. " Dustin explained with casualty, putting a hand on his hip, Steve turned to Lux with his bat in hand, which was free of demogorgon skin now. "Put this in your bag, please." Lux pulled her bag off her shoulder, dropping it on the ground infront of her aswell as the bucket and grabbed the bat from Steve's hand, pushing it in her bag as far as she could, only the top sticking out as she zipped it back up and swung it over her shoulders once again.

"Wait, what?" Lucas's staticy voice rang behind her. She turned towards Dustin's direction.

"I'll explain later, just meet me and the Harringtons at the old junk yard,"

"Wait, harringtons. As in both siblings?"

"And bring your binoculars and wrist rocket." Dustin ignored Lucas's question.

"Luxs, brother? Steve Harrington?" Lucas asked again.

Steve cut the conversation short when he closed the trunk of his car, both Steve and Lux grabbing their buckets. "Alright, let's go." he turned towards Dustin, whose back was still towards them.

"Just be there, Stat. Over and out." Dustin turned towards them and grabbed the last bucket and gasoline can that rest by the car and led the way to the old junk yard they used to hang around at when they were younger.

Lux grabbed a peice of meat from her bucket and threw it at the ground infront of her, it making a squish noise as it come in contact with the wood of the rail road track they were following.

"Dustin..." She looked up from the ground to the boy walking next to Steve, throwing beef in front of him.

"Why did you keep Dart when you know you shouldn't have?" Trying to keep her cool, Dustin sighed, lifting his head up to show her he was paying her attention.

"B-because, I thought he was my friend! And i wanted to impress Max a little." He mumbled, looking at the ground.

Lux put on a weirded out facial expression, still focused on his movements. "Friend?"

"Everyone's been busy with their own thing lately , and I just needed someone!" His voice sounded like it was getting choked up, as if he were crying.

"Dustin..." Lux felt bad for Dustin, he was right, everyone was growing up and had their own things to work out ever since they found about the outside down existing, Mike was upset that El was gone, Will still traumatized, Lucas was there but he's always been different than Dustin. She picked up her pace so that she was right behind Dustin. She lay a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.
Her head turned her different.

"I didn't know you felt like that, Dusty," She sighed, squeezing his shoulder.

"Alright, so. Let me get this straight." Steve turned his head towards their direction, mainly focused on Dustin, who turned his head towards Steve.
