"You're positive that was dart?" Lucas spoke from under Luxs arm, lifting his head up to meet Dustin, who was in front of him, walking next to Max. She kept looking back at Lux every now and then to the point Lucas got suspicious of it and shook his head after Max would turn back.

"Yes. He has the same exact yellow pattern on his butt." Dustin sounded annoyed, head dropped toward the ground, as he followed slightly behind Steve, who was just in his own world at the time it looked like to her, he hadn't said one word while they walked through the woods.

"Wh- he was tiny two days ago?" Max turned her head toward Dustin, and he lifted his up to look at her and then turned forward, fiddling with his hands. "Well, he's molted three times already." Dustin sounded like he was fed up with these questions that were just being asked one after another, Lux just listened, singing a song in her head and swaying back and forth to the rythm. Lucas turned his head up at her with a weird expression. She saw it in her peripheral but decided to ignore it. She didn't need her vibe to be ruined.

"Malted?" Steve finally spoke, turning his body slightly toward Dustin, giving Dustin the same look Lucas just gave her. "Molted." Dustin lifted his head up at Steve.
"Shed his skin to make more room like hornworms." Dustin gave him a brief explanation due to the slightly confused look on Steve's face."Well, when is he gonna molt again?" Max caught Dustin's attention, making him turn his head toward her direction.

Luxs shoes were now ruined even more since they were stained at the heel with blood, Max's jacket around her waist was once a green, now a dark red as the blood soaked through it, she hoped that by now the blood around it had dried and stopped the bleeding, she couldn't loose anymore or she might pass out.

"It's gotta be soon." Dustin intruded her train of thought."When he does, he'll be fully grown or close to it." Lux lifted her head up at Dustin and watched as he fiddled with his fingers some more. "So will his friends," Dustin added after a small wave of silence hit them. "Yeah, and he's gonna eat a lot more than just cat." Steves pace fell, so that now he was walking beside Max, head down at the ground. "Wait, a cat?" Lucas pushed Luxs arm off his shoulder and ran to catch up with Dustin, stopping him and the group as he stood in front of Dustin, his hands placed on each of his shoulders.

"Lucas!" Max yelled as she turned her head at the thud Lux made whenever her hand fell against a tree to catch herself, she turned and ran toward Lux, sliding her hand around Luxs back as she rest her arm carefully on the back of Maxs neck. "You ok bear?" Max lifted her head up to meet Luxs gaze, leaning her body against Luxs side. "I...think so." Lux pushed herself off the tree and leaned back onto Max, answering through short breaths.

"Dart ate a cat?" Lucas caught both of the girls attention, making their heads turn toward him and Dustin who were still standing face to face at eachother, Lucas clearly only caring about Dustin's rule breaking instead of Luxs physical health. "No, what? No." Everyone's head were turned towards his direction now, same face expressions across their faces, Dustin turned his head toward Steve, who looked at him blankly now. "What are you talking about? He ate mews. " Steve turned his head toward Lux and then back to Dustin, confused on why he was clearly lying.

"Mews? Who's mews? " Max asked, turning her head toward Steve, Steve's gaze was everywhere, scanning everyone's faces. "It's dustin's cat." Lux now copied Steve's actions, looking at everyone's faces, too dazed to realize what was happening. "Lux!" Dustin screamed, turning toward her. She turned to him confused, "What- Oh.. Sorry, Dustin." Lux caught herself, bringing her hand up to her mouth. "I knew it! You kept him!" Lucas grabbed Dustin's attention, punching him lightly in the shoulder, making him trip back a little.

"No, i...." Dustin tried to come up with a lie to save himself, but nothing came out. Instead, he dropped his head down to the ground."He missed me. He wanted to come home." His voice choked up as when you start to cry.
"Bull shit!" Lucas kept his gaze on Dustin. Everyone watched them two as they bickered back and forth with each other. "I didn't know he was a demogorgon, okay?" Dustin lifted his head back up to meet Lucas gaze.
"Oh, so now you admit it?" Lucas fought back.
