It was a new day, I saw Dolo out of the house as he walked to the industry building.

Some minutes later, I stepped into the house and saw Chira holding up a stick and swinging it like she was fighting with someone. I smiled as I went into the room.

Chira came into the room and sat beside me on the bed.

"Mama remember your promise." Chira said smiling.

I nodded my head remembering that I promised to play with her.

"Okay. I want to rest a bit." I said to Chira who stood up and left the room.

We had already taken our breakfast as a family thirty minutes before Dolo left the house for work.

I laid my back on the bed and closed my eyes a little before dozing off.

I woke up some minutes later and looked around. I could see Chira staring at me from afar.

I stretched my hands out to Chira who happily ran to hug me.

"Mama!" Chira said as she ran to me.

I remembered my promise to her as I sat on the bed carrying Chira on my lap.

"Should we play now?" I asked Chira who looked at me smiling.

Chira looked into my eye as she nodded her head.

I putted Chira on the ground and put on my regalia.

I held Chira's hand as we went out.

I carried Chira on my shoulder as I could hear her giggle.

I dropped her on the floor and put her on her shoulder again then ran round the house but running back, I became tired as I put Chira down.

"More, More. Mama more." Chira said clapping her hands.

"I am tired." I said to Chira who stamped her foot on the ground and cried.

"I need to rest Chira." I said as she continued crying.

I looked around thinking of what I could use to pacify her.

I saw nothing around so I had to come up with something.

"Let us rest here." I said hoping she would accept and stop crying but she increased her cry.

"Chira, let me rest. I will continue playing with you after resting." I said to Chira who grudgingly nodded her head.

I had terrible headache. I sat on one of the chairs outside and Chira sat on a little chair watching me as I rested my back on the chair.

Some minutes later, I stood up to go into the house when Chira spoke up.

"Mama, Let's play." Chira said as I stood up and shook my head smiling at her because I thought she would have forgotten about me promising to continue playing with her after resting.

I didn't want Chira to cry so I went to her.

"What do you want us to play?" I asked Chira who started giggling.

"Fighting." Chira said smiling to me.

I shooked my head at her.

"No we can't do that Chira." I said to Chira who lowered her head.

"What else do you want to play?" I asked her again as she continued giggling.

"Let's run." She said and I shooked my head again to her.

"We just ran." I said to her.

Chira stamped her feet on the ground crying.

"Okay my little Chira you are going to dance for me." I said to Chira.

 Chira shooked her head.

"No Mama." Chira said but I did like I didn't hear her.

After some minutes of me not moving to say anything, Chira stood up from the chair she sat and came to me.

"Okay Mama, I will dance." Chira said with her tiny voice and I smiled at her.

 Chira looked at me.

"Mama." Chira called as I remembered that I had to play a song for her to dance to.

I picked up my phone and played one of her popular war song and she danced to the song.

I laughed as she danced to the song.

The song ended some minutes later and I played another song which was not a war song and Chira shooked her head.

"No Mama." Chira said but looking at me she danced to the song.

I looked up and saw Dolo coming towards us.

' Why is he coming now ' I thought as I smiled.

I looked at the time on my phone. It was 4pm.

I opened my mouth in shook of how long I had been playing with Chira.

                Dolo POV

I could see my wife open her mouth with shock when she saw me and Chira was dancing that she didn't notice me.

Chira looked at her mother then turned to look at me.

"Papa" I could hear Chira say as she ran to meet me.

"My little Chira." I said as I carried her up and she giggled.

"Your Mom has been playing with you." I said as Chira looked at me.

"Mama cannot play with me like you." Chira said whispering into my ear.

I smiled as my wife walked up to me and took my office bag from my hand and took them into the house.

I walked into the house with Chira's hand wrapped around my neck.

I dropped Chira on one of the Chairs as I walked into the room to freshen up.

Some minutes after I had freshen up, I sat on the bed with my phone on my hand as I typed in a number to call.

The day had been stressful. We had meetings, baked bread, I had to go deliver some bread to some important client because the sales man wasn't around, he had to take care of his sick wife.

Although I received some sum of money for the work.

I had a knock on my door.

 "Come in." I said yawning.

My wife along with Chira walked into the room.

Dinna had a plate her hand which she covered with another plate.

She gave me the plate which I opened immediately then smiled as I shut my eyes and inhaled the aroma of the food.

I opened my eyes and saw Chira smiling at me.

Dinna dropped a small cup of water on the ground and Chira nodded her head to me and I smiled.

Chira and Dinna walked out of the room as I started eating the food.
