El floated on the water, with the cardboard sunglasses on her face as everyone else surrounded her, eager for her to tell them what was happening.

"I.. see.. Max, and Lucas. "

"Well.. how are they?" Mike asked as Will stood behind him.

"Lucas is in trouble.."

______

At the house with Erica, Max, Lucas, and.. Jason + his friends

Lucas and Max had finished talking, about how the plan would go - and she put the headphones on. As Lucas watched intensely, he heard footsteps.
Lucas saw Maxs eyes twitch, and change, it freaked him out but he knew he couldn't do anything quite yet.
He had to wait.
But he would put an end to it once she started floating. Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill, played, as the footsteps got closer.

"Shit." He muttered.

"Sinclair?" Jason looked out of breath, and saw Max as he continued walking towards Lucas. His eyes widened.

"What the hell is going on?"

"Jason. You need to leave, now." Lucas took a few steps towards Jason, realizing how bad this was.

"Hey- can you hear me?" He kneeled down to look at the state Max was in.

"You can't be here, man, trust me."

"Is this what you did to Chrissy?"

Lucas was inches away from Jason.

"Jason-"

As if it couldn't get any worse, Jason pulled out the gun he'd bought for this exact moment.

"HANDS UP, back up from me."

Lucas put his hands up, and his breath quickened, he felt hands get sweatier by the second. Lucas wouldn't ever forgive himself if he had been the reason for the plan to fail. For Max's potential death. There was so much he wanted to do. With Max, and how could he live with himself if she wasn't there for any of it?

"Hey- we don't need to do this. You hear me? Please. " Lucas urged, his hands still up."

"No, absolutely not. Why is she- like..like that. What did you do to her? You and those other freaks."

"Jason.."

"Turn around."

"What?"

"I said to turn around, NOW." Jason yelled as he pointed the gun at Lucas.

"Okay- okay, alright."
He slowly turned around, with his hands still up.

"Drop your flashlight too."

He dropped it, as Jason kept his gun pointed at him.

"Empty your pockets."

Lucas hesitated.

"I said EMPTY THEM."

"Okay, okay." Lucas whispered and did so, followed by the sound of coins hitting the ground.

"Now, this is how things are gonna go.. I'm gonna back away to the top of the stairs over there, and you're gonna wake her up from whatever the hell this is." Jason spoke sternly, his grip tightented around the gun.

"I can't. Jason, if I wake her too soon.. we all die."

"If you don't wake her up right now, you die, Sinclair."

He cocked his gun, aiming at Lucas.

"Just you."

He walked up to Lucas slowly.
