"Make sure you treasure you life." The sister, who took care of me since my parents died, said seriously as I walked outside.

Maybe it was because I was rash or just because I didn't value myself, but despite her words, I am now a professional assassin.

I sighed as I pulled the trigger of my new lovely single-action DE. I hated tainting new guns but this was inevitable - they said that the target was tough to beat. Three more guards popped out, making me irritated.

I glared at the first guard with my gold eyes, scaring him. Quickly, I pulled the trigger as I ran towards them, releasing wires. I successfully hit two of them and hid behind the pillar as they started shooting.

Taking a pen out, I wrapped it with wire and threw it toward them. It wrapped the wire around a guard's neck and returned to me. Quickly, I tugged it with force enough to kill the man.

I ran towards the nearest pillar as I reloaded the gun. I hid behind it and revealed a piece of glass using it to check the situation. The guard nearest to me was slightly injured and the other one was bleeding to death.

Shit, this is taking too long. I readied my gun and took a deep breath, I needed to take them down in one shot. The target was in the next room, I don't have to kill them but just to be sure.

I pulled out my knives as I huffed. Running towards them, I slit their throats - blood splattering everywhere. I flicked the blood off the knives and hid them as I walked towards the room.

Cocking my gun, I opened the door. I slowly walked into what looked like a bed room. Quietly, I walked around - looking for the target. A young child with raven black hair and red eyes. I walked towards the bed cautiously.

Shit, did she run? I placed my hand on my forehead as I thought of the consequences of a failed assassination. No, wait, the window is open. I ran out and saw the child, her dress caught by a branch.

"Are you stupid?" I chuckled, catching her attention, "but this makes my job easier."

I lifted the gun and pointed it at her, frowning. I thought that she was hard to kill? I glared at her as she stared at me, dumbfounded. What was with all the don't harm children or women campaigns? We're all humans here. Well, they're humans.

I pulled the trigger as I sighed - this was not my day. I hid the gun and jumped out the window just as I heard footsteps.

"Ow," what? I slowly looked down to see the child unscathed. My gold eyes grew wide as I saw her, a chill running down my spine. Did I miss?

I placed the gun on her forehead and pulled the trigger once again. A bullet swept past and scratched my cheek, taking me by surprise. I looked down to see the child unscathed like before.

"What the hell." I whispered as I furrowed my brows.

"You can't kill me," she smirked, "since I'm technically immortal."

Voices from the room above jolted me, there just has to be something to kill her. I need to go, but if she returns unscathed 'they' will kill me. I grabbed her as ran towards the car. Shoving her in it, I drove towards the apartment.

(>*_*)> Once they arrived (>*_*)>

I glared at her as I threw her inside the apartment. Pointing the gun at her, I pulled the trigger. I stared in shock as the bullet was suddenly deflected by some kind of force and hit the floor.

"What are you?" I asked, backing away.

"A scientifically created object," she stated, shrugging, "what a way to treat a woman. You aren't gentlemanly at all."

"I didn't hear anything about this." I said, ignoring her statement.

"Of course you didn't, I mean, what kind of assassin accepts an impossible request." She sighed.

Well, it is true. I only accepted it because of the money, but if I knew that this was that hard, I wouldn't have accepted. It irked me that I couldn't finish the request and her taunting attitude pissed me off.

"Immortal my ass," I yelled, "I will kill you!"

"Why don't you try?" She smiled. Normally, I keep my cool when someone pisses me off, but there is just something about her that irks me.

"Just wait and see," I hissed, "you'll be gone in no-time."
