OMORI turns around to see the door he entered through is no longer there. He observes BLACKSPACE. It is a seemingly endless void devoid of all color. He looks up to see a loose wire hanging above him. There is no lightbulb attached to it. He observes BLACKSPACE more and spots another black door, casting a heavy shadow. He opens it and steps through.
He steps into an area of black-and-white static. He sees many creatures limping around that are distorted and broken in appearance. He sees various distorted plants resembling SOMETHING crying out in pain. He walks through the static wasteland until he stumbles upon the STRANGER. The STRANGER faces OMORI.
"these rooms... are full of broken things... but at least in here, i can see who you really are. the world that you created above this one... did you make it to protect this place or to hide it away? either way... it's become more powerful than you." he says as he disappears in front of OMORI.
OMORI sees a red hand crawling across the ground. He walks up and touches it. He blacks out and wakes up in BLACKSPACE.
He spots another black door and walks up and opens it. He steps through it into another room.
This room is very colorful and glitchy. There are plenty of glitched, multicolor objects scattered around the room. Giant colorful matryoshkas are placed around the room. OMORI sees the STRANGER and walks up to him.
"lost in this confusion lies the rest of everything. the truth that you've locked away... you must find it no matter what. you have to... for the both of us." the STRANGER says as he disappears.
OMORI finds another red hand and touches it, sending him back to BLACKSPACE.
He spots another door and opens it. He walks through it into another room.
This room is very bleak and grey. It resembles a town with rows of buildings stretching across several roads. OMORI sees crude-looking animals walking up and down the roads. He also sees familiar-looking shadow people walking up and down the streets. He spots the STRANGER and approaches him.
"when you hid the truth, you sealed a part of me away with it. he's been waiting for someone to save him, all this time. on that day... when you became nothing... i was split in half. which one do you think was more painful?" the STRANGER asks as he disappears.
OMORI finds another red hand and is taken back to BLACKSPACE.
He spots another door and walks through it into another room.
This room is a grey, forested area that resembles a backyard. OMORI hears a voice speak to him from the trees. "Liar." it says. "Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar. Liar." it repeats as OMORI walks around the area. He sees SOMETHING emerging out of a tree stump. He walks up to it.
"SUNNY... I love you..." it says.
OMORI walks away from the stump, but SOMETHING follows him. He eventually finds a red hand crawling on the ground. He touches it and returns to BLACKSPACE, leaving SOMETHING behind.
He spots another door and walks through it into another room.
This room resembles a forest with black trees and a dark green sky. OMORI walks through the forest and stumbles upon a flower crown. He picks it up and continues walking. OMORI notices a large number of watermelons scattered across the area.
He continues walking until he sees BASIL staring at a watermelon. He turns to face OMORI. "OMORI... You came back for me! Is that my flower crown? I'm so glad you found it." he says happily as takes the flower crown from OMORI. "Let's get out of here... I'll follow your lead!" he says as he smiles at OMORI. OMORI gives him a cold stare as he continues walking and BASIL follows.
