It was just a pizza place; the two of you dressed casually, but it was still a date nonetheless. You ordered two pies and drinks and headed to a back booth so Hailee wasn't spotted. You were about to grab a slice when your phone began to ring.

"I'm so sorry, do you mind? It'll be quick!" You said nervously. Hailee flashed you a smile and nodded and you answered the phone. You didn't bother getting up from the table because you didn't want to cause a commotion. "This better warrant a phone call!!!" You breathed.

"We miss you Y/N!" Taylor said, her voice sounding fake sad.

"Guys I'm on a date! Can I call you back?!" You whisper shouted.

"Oh my god a date?! A date?!" Dani exclaimed.

"Yes a fucking date I gotta go!" You said giggling and you hung up the phone.

You looked at Hailee sheepishly with a smile. "Sorry about that," you said, looking down at your pizza with a deep blush.

"Hey," she said, tilting your chin to look you in the eyes, "It's alright," and she smiled. God her smile is something you'll never get tired of. Your phone dinged with a text and it was from the girls. You rolled your eyes and silenced it, turning it over onto the bench, determined not to ruin this night.

"I'm glad Martini is okay," you said quietly.

"Thank you! Sometimes I wish dogs could talk so I didn't have to stress over the fact that all it was was constipation!" She laughed, and it was then you really took in her beauty. Not that you hadn't noticed before, but seeing her so carefree and happy; well it was nice; compared to about two hours prior. The two of you talked for what felt like hours, taking her hands in yours after the two of you wrapped up the rest of the pizza to go.

"Hey girls! Shop closes in ten minutes!" The chef called out.

"Oh shit! What time is it?!" You asked. You checked your phone and it was nearly 11 pm. You had been there for hours. The two of you stood from the booth, grabbing the pizza boxes.

"Hey I should-"

"Do you want to just come back to my hotel? The studio is right there and we could use the rehearsal space tomorrow morning to go over everything like you asked and it would be easier instead of calling for a ride?" You rambled quickly, as if you didn't speak fast, the words would never come out.

Hailee looked at you slightly bamboozled, opening her mouth to speak but you cut her off again. "Shit.. I'm sorry that's... completely inappropriate, I'm so sorry. Of course, call your ride I didn't mean to-" Hailee cut you off with a soft kiss, taking you by surprise.

"Hailee I-"

Another kiss. "Are you just-" Kissed again.

"Hailee!"

She began to laugh, throwing her head back and almost dropping her pizza box. "Sorry it was just too perfect," she said flashing her beautiful smile.

"Y/N of course I'll spend the night. Let me just give my parents a call to make sure they're keeping an eye on Martini and let them know that I'm not coming home tonight," she said, grabbing her phone. You stood there frozen in time as Hailee called her mom, letting her know since it was so late that she'd stay with you and you'll both be in the studio tomorrow to practice a bit more for her performance on Lip Sync Battle. Her mom confirmed that Martini is running around like normal and the meds seem to be working great.

"Y/N?"

"Y/NNNN," Hailee called out again. She pressed a kiss to your cheek this time, finally snapping you out of your daze. "You okay, cutie?"
