Alright, while I will admit that I had small feelings for Victoria im the past. I am completely over them. It hard enough to be a witch in the 1690s. On another note when I arrived to gallows hill, my feelings completely changed. Victoria's body was strung up against a tree. Tears flooded my eyes. My face felt like fire. wait. Fire!
I rushed to the town hall. Everyone was gathered at gallows hill. I pulled a match box out of my satchel. I intensely stared at the match stick and affirmed in my head. The matchstick quickly lit. I threw the match in the thorn bush and waited. Quickly the bush bursted into flames.
"Fire!!" I screamed and everyone looked.
"Bewitchment!"
"It's Victoria!"
"She was tied up the whole time!"
"She's not the witch!"
I quickly ran to Victorias side
"Vi! Are you alright?!" I rushed the words out
"Perry? What did you do?" her words were mumbled and shakey.
I helped Victoria up and quickly took her back to my cottage. As I helped Vi onto my couch the door burst open.
"Perry! Vi!" Laura called her voice was cracked and shaken.
"Lori! We're in here!" I called out.
Laura ran in and started putting stuff in bags. She grabbed hygiene products, food, blankets, and lots of water.
"Lori what are you doing!?" I whispered harshly
"What do you mean Perry? Do you not care that they accused you of being the witch?" Laura responded.
"What?" I said, shocked.
"They think there's a whole coven so far they think that Us three are the main people in it," her voice was frantic and strained.
"What do you not understand! Get vi up Now! We need to leave." Her voice was cracking an sounded like it was about to break.
"Geez! Ok!" I said as I help vi up.
"Can you walk?" I asked
"Yeah, I pleaded not guilty and yet they kept me chained up." Victoria responded.
Victoria had noticeable marks where the chains had been and her hair was a bit greasy. I helped her up and our trio went deep into the forest.
