It gets to the science class the next day. Eleanor and Theodore walk into class together. They sit together as they are paired together for the project. Ms Anderson comes in and discussing the project details. "For the project, you and your partner will be assigned a flower to research. You will have to get a sample so you can complete your reasearch and experiment. You will have todays lesson to start your research but you will then have to complete the rest of it at either you or your patners house."
Once Ms Anderson finished explaining, she went around the classroom assigning flowers. When she got to Eleanor and Theodore she gave them the Red Rose. Eleanor and Theodore started working on the project but Theodore didn't do much other than annoy Eleanor. Eleanor wanted to get as much of the project done as soon as possible so they could get it over and done with. So she decided to give Theodore an offer.
"Meet me at Berry Forest 6pm sharp." Eleanor said in a serious tone. "And what are you going to do if I'm late?" Theodore challenged. "I'll do the project without you and then you won't pass. I know you need a passing grade to keep your soccer scholarship." Eleanor said confidently. As much as Theodore wanted to protest, he knew she was right. "Fine, I'll be there. But I'm only doing this for my scholarship." he said bluntly.
