Trope 3 - Stuck Together

The company you're working for is organizing a Christmas trip and each section manager is responsible to lead a group of employees when you go skiing in the mountains for the holiday trip. The group you were in was the largest, as everyone wanted to be close with the manager. He didn't mind leading a large group, consisting mostly of females, despite complaints. 

Those women really liked him, some were even in love with him. Yeah, you found him hot and sexy. Yeah, you joined and listened to your female colleagues when they gossiped and fantasized about him out loud. Yeah, you caught yourself at times lost in your own fantasies about yourself and the sexy manager but quickly shook away those thoughts as you clearly didn't have a chance with him. That is because many women tried and got rejected which created a new set of rumors. Stories of the manager being married, divorced, or a single dad circulated the company every day.

The holiday trip meeting that the hot manager led was over and on your way to exit the conference room, you stop and glance at him. He was already surrounded by chatty women, asking him stuff they "didn't understand" from the meeting. You sigh and go back to your desk to pack - everyone was leaving early as the bus for the mountains is leaving early tomorrow. You mutter the list of winter clothes you own and need to pack, remembering to include the cozy winter boots your mom bought for you last year, as well as the warm pajamas you always sleep in during winter.

It's around 7 AM and the morning is freezing cold. You greet your colleagues who were already at the bus station, trying to push the cold air by snuggling more into your padded jacket and the thick knitted shawl, a gift from your late grandmother. You chat casually with two male colleagues, learning some skiing tips from them when a crowd of women not too far from you starts squealing louder. You turn and see the person they go crazy about.

"Oh, there he is... mister Perfect himself..." one of the males comments, pure annoyance in his voice.

"I already don't want to be in this group..." the other adds.

The group of giggling women silences as they notice a female manager from another department hooking her arm around the handsome male. You snicker, glad that the crowd silenced after being defeated by the manager's clingy arm and her simple action of getting close to the handsome man.

"Serves you right..." you mutter to yourself, already tired of the constant swooning that the women did every day.

You, and those close around you, bow to the two managers, greeting them as they enter the bus first. The rest of you follow and soon, the bus leaves the station, heading to the high mountain hotel. The ride to the hotel was silent - all eyes were on two managers who sat together, chatting and laughing. Soon, a new rumor arose - two managers are secretly dating.

After just eating the most delicious hotel breakfast, all you want is to wrap yourself in one of the soft blankets and stay in the cozy warmth of the hotel room. But, that wasn't a part of the plan...

Everyone's instructed to dress warm and head to the ski center in the hotel lobby to get their equipment. You grunt and pull on your ski suit, a hand-me-down from your older sister, and like a penguin wobble downstairs.

And despite there being five very tall, masculine, and handsome skiing instructors, many females gathered around the handsome manager... again. You grouped yourself with two male colleagues you chatted with at the station, agreeing to let them show you those tricks they talked about. You know how to ski but the mountain can be unpredictable and you can use some extra tutoring.

"You're doing great!" your colleague shouts and gives you a thumbs-up as he passes you, "Race you to the bottom!" he adds and you speed up, leaning forward to create a perfect aerodynamic pose. You race and pass other people along the track but, in the end, he wins with a perfect side slide.
