Those bullies had to pay.

He dragged himself out of the front door and all the way to school. His mother had offered to drive him, but seeing as Hisashi was still home, he declined her offer. So there he was, outside of UA. Sighing, he limped inside and prepared himself for the torture that lay ahead.
But something was different. Today, he had a sort of pride about him. When he limped down the halls, heads turned as usual, but instead of the usual faces full of hate and disgust, he saw neutral faces, neutral as though they thought he had gotten what he had deserved for simply existing.
But some were even fearful, and it was those faces that confused him.
Maybe it was the pride he walked with, as his limp slowly turned into a normal walk. Then, he was prideful as ever.
He felt so strong, until he saw his bullies.
Then, everything he walked with disappeared faster than his bullies could even register him.
He shrank into himself as his bullies cowered over him.
He was so utterly stupid.
So. Utterly. Stupid.
And now, he was going to pay.

He limped home with purpose. He hadn't the slightest idea how he was going to strengthen his quirk, but he was going to find a way. No matter what it takes.
