chap 1.

the morning breeze and refreshing air..a good day to start. jake walked to school while eating bread. the sun shines bright as usual and the taste of his chocolate bread makes it even better for him to start the day at school. typical monday morning as usual. jake had his ear buds attach to his ears as he listen to his favourite song of TXT, fairy of shampoo.

jake smiles as he notice his friend waiting for hin at the school gate. he immediately rush to his
friend, jungwon ,who is busy drinking his strawberry milk. jake greeted him as usual.

"hey won, fancy that youre waiting eventhough we live together...anyway, where's sunoo ?" jake asked, looking around the gate. jungwon sigh and pointed to the right.

"with sunghoon as usual," jake nodded and both proceed to class while sunoo and sunghoon talking behind them. those two are cute but they wont admit that they like each other !

first class of the day ! math. just great... result day for the previous test that jake took last week regarding circles. jake bids jungwon goodbye as he left for his art class. as soon as jake steps in, he bumps into someone. tall, handsome. yes, that someone is lee heeseung. jake shot daggers as heeseung just stare down at him.

right, its math class ! he forgot he has the same class as heeseung. jake just rolled his eyes and purposely bump onto his shoulder as he walk to his seat.

"such a shorty," heeseung commented. the smaller just sighed and the class begins. the teacher casually revise some topics for math. jake must admit, it was really hard to keep up despite whats going on on his head. now, its the moment of truth.

the test results.

"i'll it on the class board. if there's anything you need to clarify, please find me at my office right outside the school hall. thats all from me, thank you." the math teacher left right after he stamp the results on the class board.

jake immediately, along with heeseung rush to the board first and look for their names.

"lee heeseung, A2...."

"sim jaeyun, B3...."

jake jaw drops while heeseung cheered happily and hug his friend, jay. he has never drop a grade before since he always maintained his A. he side eye at heeseung happy face and had the urge to cry. this hurts because he put in so much effort for the test. studying 24/7 365 yet he drop a grade down.

jake just stares at him and walked back to pack his bag.

"what a fucking day." he cussed and left the class for his next lesson. thank god his next class was with sunoo. he sat down and just, lie his head on the table, wanting to sleep.

"wow, sim jaeyun sleeping in class for the first time. way to go man. i'll cover you up my dude," sunoo speaks as he sat next to the sleepy jake.

"bro, i got a grade lower than heeseung for math. im feeling shitty right now." jake mumbled, pouting.

"no way"

"yes way, my parents are gonna kill me.." jake sigh.

sunoo stares at jake, feeling bad as jake had to went through so much to be a perfect son for his parents since his brother is a successful person with an amazing job offering good income. of course his parents would set the same expectations for jake.

"its fine sunoo, its just math. i'll get an A for the next test." jake reassured sunoo and went back to sleeping.

yep, the teacher didn't realise that jake was sleeping. meanwhile, sunoo was just admiring sunghoon picture on his phone.

time passed by so fast and it was now lunch time. jake didnt had the appetite to eat after seeing his grades. jungwon and sunoo tried to get him to eat but he just wouldnt. not even his strawberry milk.

"c'mon jakey, eat something please ? im sure you'll get a better grade than him for the next huge exam..." sunoo smiles, calmly pat jake's fluffly brown hair.

"doesnt that chocolate cake smells amazing ! it wont be painful to try," jungwon tries to feed jake but it was no use.

heeseung, who happened to just passing by with his friends, riki and jay, noticed the latter.

jake immediately shot up from his previous position and glare at him.

"smelled that filthy perfume of yours. still dare to walk past me ?" jake mumbled. heeseung stopped.

"how do you know that it is my perfume ? you be smelling me ? weirdo.." heeseung made that judgmental face and cringed. jake realises his words but he didnt bother at all.

"go away. i dont want to see that face of yours anymore." jake rolled his eyes and left the cafeteria, leaving jungwon and sunoo behind.

"what an ass." heeseung scoffed and went to buy food. riki and jay apologised to the two smaller for heeseung's attitude and smack the back of heeseung for acting that way.

jake stayed at the rooftop and frown.

"everyday sucks when he's there."
