"thank you for today heeseung," the ceo smiled and gave him the permission to leave early as the ceo too wanted to go back home and spend time with his family after so long!

"thank you sir," heeseung smiled and immediately left after the ceo car left from the company. he texted jake if he was okay from last night and told him to get ready with him together when he's back home.

"im home jakey! you good babe ?" heeseung came in the apartment in full energy and smiled widely as soon as he spotted jake at the couch wearing outfit.

"i'll wait for u, im gonna eat some ice cream," jake said, taking a bite from his ice cream tub.

"dont eat too much babe, we still have reservations later!" heeseung responded.

the older immediately went to take a quick shower and immediately wore a mttching outfit with jake. he style his hair with a center parting and some volume added as his hair was looking flat as hell.

"alrighty, lets go~" heeseung grab jake's hand and both of them went ahead to spend their day together.

their first destination was to the movie theatre. jake has always wanted to watch a certain movie ever since it came out. and so, heeseung booked a movie ticket online today for that specific movie.

for their second destination, they went ahead to eat at a restaurant that heeseung had made a reservation for. it was a restaurant they both found comfort in, especially during cold weather.

afterwards, they went ahead to buy some ice cream and sat at the benches near the beach shore.

"i miss this," jake suddenly spoke. heeseung looked at jake and stare at him in silence. he misses it too. he miss the times they had together.

"can we please be together like this forever ?" jake questioned.

and with no hesitation, heeseung agreed with a, "of course baby,".

and to their final destination, they both have always wanted this.
which is to play basketball.

"thanked god we arent wearing thick ass clothes! if not we wont even be able to play this comfortably," jake chuckled as be started to bounce the ball.

for this, heeseung had only bought a basketball and found a basketball court near their apartment. thankfully, there was not a lot of people here.

"winner gets their wish granted!" jake smirked and soon they started to play against each other.

(i just suddenly thought of the heejake basketball vlog!!)

the game started off smoothly. but well, you can already gussed who won.

"damn it," jake was breathing heavily as he sat on the ground, looking after heesung who is smiling widely. "youre too tall to be against this short guy here!" jake placed an index to his chest as he referred himself as the short guy.

heeseung just laughed and went over to jake and cupped his face.

"youre the cutest i swear," heesueng pecked his forehead.

"all i want is us to be together forever my love," heeseung said his wish.

time passed by and soon they got back home.

"are you sure you'll quit your job? for us.." jake asked, lying down on the bed after he had showered and wore on his pyjamas.

heeseung kept quiet. before he could even respond to jake, the latter has fell asleep.

the following day, jake woke up only to find no one next to him.

"guess the cycle repeats huh..."

he walked out of the room and noticed a breakfast was ready at the counter along with a note.

"im sorry baby, i'll try to be home asap!
love heeseung,"

jake read.

"i already miss you..." jake tear alittle.

a few weeks passed by and heeseung didnt quit his job but instead, he took some off days. jake got upset, heeseung didnt meant his promise. ever since that day last week, jake has been waking up alone and sleeping at night alone with heeseung back home late.

this has eventually got jake and heeseung into a big fight.

"no what the hell? i told you to quit didnt i?!" jake yelled at heeseung out of anger.

"listen jake, i have a reason for not quitting i swear!" heeseung tried to calm jake down, holding onto his hand.

"what was it then ? someone got your attention? youre cheating now?" jake was too angry to even think about his questions. that had heesehng taken aback.

"what the hell jake? why would you think of that? i love you!" heeseung yelled back, anger started to fume in.

jake stopped mid way to the room and turn to heeseung with his eyes full of tears.

"it doesnt seem that way heeseung." and that broke heeseung heart. jake took a deep breath, as he closed his eyes and open back.

"lets break up," jake words has made heeseung heart shattered into million pieces. "im sorry heeseung, i dont feel the love you gave me like 6 years ago."

"i've tried so hard to think that this is just because im lonely and that youre just working for the better but.. i cant help it. i dont feel that you love me anymore." jake continued and cry his eyes out

"w-what? jake no! baby, youre just joking right? alright babe, i'll quit i promise. please dont leave me baby," heeseung voice cracked as he held onto jake by his hands and pulled him closer.

"heeseung hyung, you promised. promised to quit and be with me. yet, you broke it. just like how you broke the other promises some time ago. you dont keep to your words heeseung." jake pushed heeseung away alittle.

"please jake... im sorry. i swear! i really have a reason for this, i swear jake. please please dont leave me. please baby?" heeseung clasp his hands together, bending on his knees and begging jake not to leave him.

"im sleeping at sunghoon and the others dorm for the next few days. please dont look for me until– well you know when." jake pulled heeseung up from his knees. "and please dont beg for me baby.." jake cried.

the both of them connect their lips together for the last time and then, jake left. the house felt so empty, heeseung was on the floor sobbing and screaming in pain.

and that same night, sunghoon found jake crying like hell, outside his shared apartment.

"sunghoon... we broke up." jake cried even more, too weak to even get up.

and suddenly, everything just feels different.

heeseung looked around his apartment. everything felt so cold and empty. he felt lonely and he misses jake already.

heeseung finally understands how jake felt.

all they feel now is pain.
