chap 13.

on the same day, while jay was making his way to find sunghoon and riki to tell them about his first assignment and having jungwon as his partner..

sunoo walks in, scanning the class as he held his books to his chest.

oh jakey hyung! oh he looks unwell..

"yo hyung! are you good ? you're looking very pale now.." sunoo asked as he say next to jake. jake just nodded his head, no voice coming out. jake's sweating a lot and he is also shivering.

"nothing, pretty chilly right now with the wind here." jake spoke softly. sunoo could hear but he couldnt deny, it is chilly right now.

"let me know if you need anytging alright? make sure to eat too hyung!" sunoo smiled, patting jake's back. jake just smile and went back to doing his school works.

time passed by and its finally recess! heeseung was dying to meet jake. he waited for jake at his locker with the lunch boxes he prepared.

10 minutes went by and heeseung got worried. he managed to spot his junior, jungwon from afar, together with riki and sunoo.

"hey guys! have anyone seen jake? i've been waiting but he hasn't come." heeseung asked.

"oh? i thought he texted you? he had settle some school work in the classroom. you can check if he's still there hyung! pretty sure he is still inside." sunoo explained as he munch on his milk bread.

the older thanked them and immediately went searching for jake. the moment he reached outside the classroom, he was stunned.

it was silence and it seemed like no one was in the classroom but.

as he walked in, he suddenly saw a body on the floor.

"jake..?" heeseung checked and sure it is. jake on the floor, looking pale and weak.

"oh my god. jake! are you alright?!" heeseung rushed to jake and shook him, hoping he's just sleeping. heeseung touch jake forehead and it was burning hot.

"idiot, youre having such high ass fever!"

the older carried jake by piggy backing and rushed to the sick bay.

# meanwhile...

"jungwon, have i ever told you how cute you are ? i would tell the whole world!" jay smile, eye to eye as he stares at jungwon.

jungwon just look at him with a judging look and just ignore him, as if he never heard anything.

"jungwonie, let's meet up later for our project! what do you want me to cook? ramyeon? steak? oh! how about curry! your favourite!" jay continue babbling.

sunoo and sunghoon were just talking and riki just sat there, feeling like a third wheel. well, it doesnt bother him.. infact he's disgusted.

"jay, can you please shut the fu–"

"–oh my god guys." sunghoon suddenly exclaimed.

"jake's in the hospital! heeseung just texted me. he's there together with the ms Nam!" sunghoon continued.

"what?" all of them looked up at sunghoon.

"but, he said he was fine? i checked on him.." sunoo was at loss. "i shouldve known sooner.. he was so pale, looking sick," sunoo mumbled, frowning as he felt sad for not being able to figure out about jake's condition sooner.

sunghoon hugged him tightly. "dont worry baby, you didnt knew. dont blame yourself on this. let's go there once school ends."

riki looked at the two lovebirds.

ah.. so this what it feels like to be...

riki just agreed to sunghoon statement and continued eating his food, despite not having appetite.

"youre lucky enough that i didnt cuss you out just now..." jungwon glared at jay who's happyily staring at jungwon with heart eyes.

"im lucky enough to have met you. you're my whole world wonie,"

and that made jungwon blushed slightly.

"so how is he doc?" the teacher asked. heeseung felt anxious, he played with his finger, kept running his hands through his hair, tapping his feet.

"good that you brought him here. he's having a very high fever. we had to put him IV drops as he quite dehydrated as well." doctor explained. both teacher and heeseung was relief.

"heeseung, you can go in and stay by his side. i've already contacted his parents regarding this. i may have to go back to school now to inform the school. thank you dear.." ms Nam smiles at heeseung and left as heeseung send her off to the elevator.

heeseung look at jake and his heart shatter in many pieces.

"poor baby.."

heeseung went out of his room and sigh. he called sunghoon to inform regarding jake's condition and also send him a text of jake's ward information.

time check, it is now 1.45pm, and jake hasnt eaten yet.

few minutes passed and jake was awoke by the sound of plastics rustling and someone humming. jake looked to his left and saw heeseung.

"bambi..?" jake stuttered as he struggle to sit up. heeseung immediately rushed to him and help him up. "jakey? how are you feeling?"

"sick."

"right.... come! let me feed you this porridge. you havent eaten right ?" heeseung open a cover of the bowl, revealing freshly cooked porridge. the older stir the dish and blow softly to the porridge on the spoon so that jake wont burn his tongue.

"here," he fed the younger.

"you know i can eat by myself right?"

"i know but i want to feed you, you're my baby," heeseung smile.

he fed jake once more and then,

someone was recording them and taking picture. both the boys turned to the direction where the sound came from and saw jungwon and riki holding onto their phones in landscape for riki and potratit for jungwon.

"this was definitely jay's idea!" jungwon threw the phone to jay.

"hell no, this was sunghoon's!" jay passed the phone to sunghoon.

"and sunoo!" riki passed the phone to the sunshine.

silence....

"HAHAHAHAHA" both heeseung and jake started laughing so hard.

"ouch," jake winced in pain holding onto his stomach. "not gonna laugn in this condition" jake coughed, taking the cup of water that was handed by heeseung.

well, towards the end of the day, all of them catched up with each other and sternly told jake to make sure he eats healthily.
