Chapter 5

Yuya was smiling at the three monsters in front of him.

Declan: "I'll activate the action card, "high dive," giving my Alexander one thousand extra attack points."

Alexander: 2500 >>> 3500

Declan: "Now my Alexander attacks your wizard dragon!"

Yuya watched as the monster's attack came close.

Yuya: "I activate the quick play spell, "Hippo carnival," special summoning three Hippo token onto my field, and you have to attack the tokens!"

Three circus themed hippos appear on the field as Alexander stops in front of Odd-eyes wizard dragon.

Declan: "Then I have it attack on of your hippos."

Alexander slashed down on one of the three hippos, destroying it.

Declan: "And because Alexander destroyed your hippo, it can attack another hippo and destroy it."

Alexander attacks and destroys another hippo.

Declan: "And finally my Genghis attacks your last token."

It attacks and destroys the last token.

Declan: "Now Caesar will attack your dragon, and in order for my attack to succeed I activate high dive again."

D/D/D wave king Caesar: 2400 >>> 3400

The knight charges at Odd-eyes and destroys it.

Yuya LP: 4000 >>> 3100

Yuya: "Odd-eyes wizard dragon's effect activates, because it was sent to the graveyard by your monster, I can special summon my Odd-eyes from the graveyard, and I can also add a, "Spiral flame strike," spell to my hand."

Odd-eyes appears on the field as Yuya adds a card to his hand.

Declan: "Impressive, I end my turn with a face down."

Yuya draws a card.

Yuya: "I think it's time I end this duel, I activate monster reborn, returning Odd-eyes wizard dragon to the field."

A portal opens up as Odd-eyes wizard dragon jumps out.

Yuya: "Next I activate pot of greed allowing me to draw two new cards."

Yuya draws his two cards.

Yuya: "Next I activate, "Spiral flame strike," allowing me to add Odd-eyes arc pendulum dragon to my hand."

Yuya grabs his card.

Yuya: "Now I pendulum summon, appear Odd-eyes arc pendulum dragon and Odd-eyes phantom dragon."

Two lights fall from between the pendulum to reveal two new dragons.

Yuya: "Now I think I'll summon beyond pendulum, I activate the ritual spell, Odd-eyes Advent!"

Spectators: "Ritual!?"

Yuya: "The cost is a pendulum monster, so I use level seven Odd-eyes arc pendulum dragon as sacrifice to ritual summon!"

An alter appears as Odd-eyes arc pendulum dragon becomes seven flames that light seven candles.

Yuya: "Dragon that controls gravity, show us your true unmatched power, I ritual summon! Appear level seven, Odd-eyes gravity dragon."

The flames merge together as a roar is heard. A orange dragon clad in meteors appears on the field.

Yuya: "And thanks to gravity dragon's effect, it returns all your spell and trap cards to your hand and you can't activate any effects in response to my dragon's!"

Odd-eyes gravity dragon roars as it releases a blast of pressure, sending Declan's card to his hand.

Yuya: "And I am not done, I now use Odd-eyes dragon and Odd-eyes wizard dragon to build the overlay network."

The two monsters become two purple orbs that float into a galaxy, causing an explosion.

Yuya: "I xyz summon! Rank seven, the xyz pendulum monster, Dark anthelion dragon!"

This shocked everyone minus Yuga and Yuzu as a black dragon appeared on the field with two purple orbs floating around it.

Yuya: "Now Odd-eyes phantom dragon, attack wave king Ceaser!"

Odd-eyes charges forward and hits Ceaser, causing the monster to be destroyed.

Declan LP: 4000 >>> 3900

Yuya: "Odd-eyes phantom dragon effect activates, dealing you twelve hundred points of damage for each Odd-eyes monster in my pendulum zone, and I count two."

Declan, Ms.Akaba and all of the LDS students eyes widens.

Yuya: "Go! Atomic force!"

Odd-eyes phantom, persona, and mirage dragon start glowing as Odd-eyes phantom sends a blast directly at Declan, hitting him and sending him backwards.

Declan LP: 3900 >>> 1500

Yuya: "And now my dark anthelion will attack your gust king Alexander, and by activating his quick effect and tossing one overlay unit your monster loses half it's attack points while mine gains the lost attack points!"

D/D/D Gust king Alexander: 2500 >>> 1250

Dark anthelion: 3000 >>> 4250

Yuya: "Now attack!"

Dark anthelion charges forward as Declan grabs a card.

Declan: "I activate evasion, negating your attack!"

Yuya: "Odd-eyes gravity dragon's effect activates, because you activated a card effect, you pay five hundred life points!"

Declan's eyes widen as another blast of pressure hits him.

Declan LP: 1500 >>> 1000

Yuya: "Odd-eyes gravity dragon attacks your Alexander! End it!"

Odd-eyes gravity dragon charges up a blast of energy as it fires it at Alexander, destroying the knight and causing a explosion.

Declan LP: 1000 >>> 0

Yuya: "And that's game, thanks for the duel, but please, get out of our school and don't come back."

The LDS students were in shock that their president had lost. The chair women couldn't believe her son had lost. The Yusho students and principal were cheering happily.

Yuya walks away as Skip and Ms.Akaba talk about the deal that had been made.

-An hour later-

Yuya was walking around the park when he bumps into someone and drops his deck.

Yuya: "Shoot, sorry."

Yuya kneels down and starts gathering his cards. The man he bumped into looks down.

???: "You play duel monsters."

Yuya: "Yeah, but who doesn't right?"

The man chuckles before pulling a card out.

???: "Here, take this, I think it'll help."

Yuya looks up at the man after gathering his cards and looks at the card being handed to him. He takes it and looks up at the man in surprise. The card he was handed was Performapal Kuribohble.

Yuya: "Y-you're... oh wow... thank you so much!"

Yuya places the card in the deck as the man walks away.

???: "He sure is something, I wonder what you would think of him Atem..."
