Cybernetic duelist

Chapter 1

Yuya had decided to follow Yuga, Yuzu, Silvio, and the kids from Yusho duel school to the Leo institute's main stage. Yuya watched from the shadows as Silvio stole Yuga's two magicians. Yuya decided to enter the fray.

Silvio: "Now with my pendulum cards, no one can stop me."

Yuya: "I can."

Everyone turned to Yuya, surprised that he had shown up.

Yuzu: "What are you doing here?"

Yuya: "Saw this scum and thought something wasn't right, turns out I was correct."

Silvio: "Who are you calling scum?"

Yuya: "How about we let our monsters do the talking."

Yuya held up his duel disk.

Yuga: "No way, they are my cards I will-"

Yuya: "Shut it, you would only get in the way."

Silvio: "Alright, let's duel then."

Silvio held his duel disk to Yuya. Yuya pressed some buttons on his duel disk as a duel mat layout appeared, but it was different.

Silvio: "Hey, what's this? Why are there two spaces between the five monster zones?"

Yuya: "How about we duel and you find out?"

Silvio growled before they both started the duel, everyone else moving away.

Yuya: "I think I will start by special summoning my Link slayer, as I have no monsters on the field."

Yuya played a card as a man in gold armor. They were all surprised as they had never seen a monster like this.

Silvio: "What kind of monster is that?"

Yuya: "This is Link slayer, a cyberse monster."

All: "Cyberse!?"

Yuya: "And I am not done, I special summon my Backup secretary because I control a cyberse monster."

A lady with purple hair in a white futuristic suit wearing blue glasses appears.

Yuya: "And finally, I summon my draconnect."

A small glowing tech dragon appears.

Yuya: "I can now special summon bitron from my deck in defence mode."

A small machine monster appears on the field.

Yuya: "Now appear the circuit that leads towards the future!"

Yuya holds his hand up as a circuit appears above him, shocking everyone.

Yuya: "The condition is a normal monster, so I bitron to link summon. Appear, link one, Link spider!"

Bitron becomes a red beem of energy before hitting the bottom arrow of the circuit, making it red. A spider machine appears on the field and in one of the two special spaces.

Silvio: "Why did your monster go there?"

Yuya: "Simple, it's the extra monster zone, meaning only monsters from the extra deck can be summoned their. And extra deck monsters can only be summoned to the extra monster zone... normally."

Silvio: "Normally?"

Yuya: "I'll show you, but first I activate Link spider's effect, summoning another bitron from my hand in defence mode on its link marker."

Another bitron appears behind Link spider.

Yuya: "Now, using Link slayer, draconnect, and bitron I create another circuit and link summon. The condition is two or more cyberse monsters. I link summon, link three, excode talker!"

The three monster becomes red beems of energy, before each one hit a different arrow, the top, left, and right arrow. A giant monster, clad in green armor, appeared behind Link spider.

Silvio: "Hey what gives!?"

Yuya: "So I think you noticed every time I link summoned, they went into specific arrows right? Well, anytime those arrows point to a monster zone that zone allows an opening for more monsters from the extra deck to be summoned."

This gob smacked everyone present. These link monsters were incredible.

Yuya: "Now excode talker's effect activates, making it impossible for you to summon any monster in the middle main monster zone. And it's second effect activates, allowing any monster next to Excode's link arrows to gain five hundred attack points, and you cannot target that monster with effects."

Link spider 1000 >>> 1500

Yuya: "Now I use link spider and backup secretary to link summon. Appear my current. The condition is two cyberse monsters. I link summon, link two, code talker."

The two monster flew into the circuit, one hitting the top arrow, and the other the bottom. A smaller knight clad in silver armor appears in front of excode talker.

Yuya: "Now excode gives Code talker five hundred attack points, and when their is a monster in to Code talker's link arrow, Code talker gains five hundred attack points, and the monster in that zone cannot be destroyed by battle or card effect."

Code talker: 1300 >>> 2200

Yuya: "I them place one card face down an end my turn."

Silvio draws a card and summons his lightning hover board in attack mode, ending his turn.

Yuya: "Wow, you are dumb, I win this turn."

Silvio: "Oh yeah? How?"

Yuya: "Like this, I attack with code talker."

This didn't surprise anyone.

Yuya: "However, I activate my trap, Jelly cannon, returning lightning hoverboard to your deck."

Silvio watched in horror as his monster disappears into his deck.

Yuya: "Now my two monsters can attack you directly!"

The two monster charge Silvio, attacking him.

Silvio: 4000 >>> 1800 >>> 0

Yuya watches as Silvio falls to the ground before making his way towards him. Yuya pulls Yuga's two monsters out of the deck and throws them to Yuga, leaving everyone surprised. Yuya leaves the stadium, having made his point.
