Sorry it took me so long to update I have been really busy lately and have not had any inspiration to write.

KA) I don't know but Voight did seem really mad
K) yeah, there is no way that Voight is happy for them, he doesn't even like the fact they are dating
AR) yeah, she is right Voight doesn't even let them go out in the field anymore
KA) yeah, speaking of them here they come
E) hey guys
K) so what did Voight say/do
E) if you want to know look at Jay's face
They all look at jays face and see that he has a black eye
AD) well that is one black eye
J) yeah I know and I have to go to work tomorrow
E) you can use some of my makeup to cover it up if you want
J) I will take you up on that offer
E) ok, just let me know tomorrow
Erin's POV
It feels wrong lying to the team but we have to in order to make sure they don't lose their jobs because of us. I am also thinking about talking to jay about joining the DC NCIS team, mostly because we need to get out of Chicago and it might be nice joining a new team with new people. Now all I have to do is convince Jay that it will be awesome and then we have to apply for the jobs. While I have been thinking about all of this Jay has been steadily talking with the team. I notice that we have been here for a few hours and I am getting really tired so I tell Jay that we should head home, he agrees and we head home. When we get home we go straight to our room to get ready for bed, I decide that I should tell Jay about my plan now instead of later. Once we are settled in bed I start to bring up the subject.
E) Jay, I was thinking about what we should do about our jobs
J) Yeah, what do you think we should do?
E) Well I was thinking we could Join NCIS in Washington DC
J) I think that is a good idea, I will fill out the forms now.
E) Ok that sounds great
Jay's POV
I am glad that Erin suggested that we move to DC and join NCIS. I think this will allow us to have more time together without having to worry about Hank catching us together and hurting me, Erin or the baby. After I finished filling out the application forms I put the computer away and cuddled with Erin. We talked for about 2 hours when I realized that Erin has fallen asleep. I whisper I love you to her and kiss her temple before turning the lights off then go to sleep myself.
*the next morning*
I wake up before Erin so I decided that I would make her some breakfast in bed this morning, that is if she does not wake up before it is done. I am almost done when I hear footsteps coming up behind me, then I feel Erin wrap her arms around me. We say our good mornings and give our kisses to each other. After that Erin sits on the counter watching me finish cooking but I can tell she is getting bored so I asked her if she can go get my phone. She agrees to get my phone, I watch her walk away because she is just the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. When she comes back I see that she is reading something on my phone, I of course do not care that she is, I just want to know what the message says.
J) Hey baby whatcha reading
E) Well this email is from NCIS
J) and what does it say
E) we got the job we are on team Gibbs
J) that's amazing, I have heard great things about that team
E) I know me to, it is so exciting
J) it is but let's talk about is while we eat or else the food is going to get cold
E) of course babe that is a wonderful idea
