Klaus and Hayley watched Henrik in his cot after he had killed Dahlia, and his eyes glowed gold,

"He's going to turn Klaus," Hayley said worry in her voice as Henrik's bones started to break, "Why isn't he screaming," As she quickly got Henrik out of his onesie, Klaus holding Hope as she looked at her Brother.

"I don't know," Klaus replied, his eyes worried looking at his now naked Son in his cot as his bones broke and shifted into a little wolf pup, as Hayley spoke softly soothing him, and when he was completely transformed, Hayley put him on the floor then vamped out of her clothes, and shifted into a wolf, and Hope clapped her hands looking at the big tawny wolf that was her Mother and her Brother the little black wolf as Hayley nosed Henrik and flopped down on her wolf stomach, as Pup/Henrik climbed on her biting and pulling her wolf ears, growling low, his pup growl making Klaus smile as he sat in the rocking chair with Hope watching his Wife and Son, Hope squealing and babbling with delight, Pup/Henrik ran around the nursery, and into the his Parents bedroom, Hayley gave a low growl and Pup/Henrik stopped and looked at her, knowing she was calling him back to her, and charged at her, smashing his little wolf body into hers, and Wolf/Hayley licked his pup face and nudged him tipping him over his little tummy exposed, his wolf legs kicking in the air and she licked Pup/Henrik's stomach as he yipped in pleasure and excitement,

Klaus laughed out loud, watching the Two of them play, having never seen such a sight in his Thousand Year life, and Hope giggled happily as she watched on cuddled in her Father's arms.

Flashback, Southern France, 1002 AD

Klaus's memories, "In the beginning, we were so naive. Our mother had made us into beasts that fed on blood, but Immortality was beyond our grasp, compulsion a trick we had yet to learn. Kl All we knew was a fear of being hunted. That and a terrible hunger, So we ran... as a Family... and when we needed to... as a Family... We fed."

Elijah, "Kol, are you quite done? "

Kol, "Ahh. Oh, bother, Elijah! Is all of this truly necessary? "

Elijah, "Brother, the road is a major thoroughfare. If the bodies are found, word of our presence will spread to Mikael."

Rebekah, "We have run through Autumn and Winter, through sleet and snow. Are we cursed to forever live in fear of our Father? "

Finn, "I should say yes sadly."

Elijah, "Finn, please. Niklaus."

Rebekah, "Do we have any idea where we're running to next?"

Kol, "Why not just do what we've all thought of doing? Split up!"

Klaus, "We swore a vow!"

Kol, "Your vows haunt me more than Father himself! At least he can't chase us all. I say we take our chances."

Finn, "Perhaps Kol is right."

Kol, "Thank you, Finn! Yes, I've always said Eldest is the most intelligent."

Finn, "Stop talking! I take no Joy in our assent, but I do wish to sleep in a bed, to bathe in a bath, to feed of proper food."

Elijah, "No, Brother. Niklaus is right. We made a vow. Family above all,  Always... forever."
