I woke up to a bang. I jumped, hearing another. "What the hell?!" I hopped out of bed, giving my eyes a second to adjust. I quickly ran downstairs to see what was going on.
"You sure this is safe??" I heard a voice spoke. "It's FINE." I peeked around the corner of a wall, seeing my dad putting up something on the wall. I analyzed the room. I saw my mom standing at the bottom of a ladder. I looked up, seeing my father on top of the ladder.
"What are you guys doing? Its 4:37!" I rubbed my eyes, my raspy voice spoke over the bangs. My parents quickly looked over, noticing that I was now in the presence of the room. "People are coming over tonight after school mark!" My father spoke, continuing what he was doing.
"Who in the hell would want to come over?" I started to walk to the kitchen to cook something since I was up. "A friend of ours! Her family is coming over. And they have a son, if you know what I mean." I saw my mom smirk in the corner of my eye as I set my cereal bowl on the table.
My parents knew I was gay. They've supported me through everything and is very proud of me. I got a bit embarrassed of her saying this though, them also knowing that I never had a special someone in my life yet. Nobody wants me though, I can only imagine why. I have anxiety. I also basically hide my face from the whole world because I'm scared people would hate it. My parents say 'never listen to other peoples opinions, only focus on what you like' but i think it's a bad saying. It doesn't really make sense to me. And I still worry about what other people think about me.
"I-..really?.." I slapped my face in embarrassment and sat down, gulping down my cereal. "Yep, I've heard that he's very nice. Pretty clingy though, like you!" My dad chuckled. "Very funny dad." I let out a sigh of laughter.
A couple hours passed and it was only 6:10. I usually get ready at 7:00 because school starts at 7:30 but this time, I thought that I should get ready now so I looked nice for the guests today. And for the boy..I mean- no. I don't even know who he his yet. Snap out of it ranboo!
I just finished showering. I walked out of my bathroom with a towel around my waist and walked to my dresser. I picked up some clothes and raced back to the bathroom to get ready. Once I finished I walked out, wearing probably one of my favorite outfits I had. (Here's a pic of it cuz I'm lazy to type it out:)

I thought about combing my hair but I decided not to, trying to go with the messy look. When I checked my phone to see what time it is, I noticed that it was 7:15. "Shoot, I wanted to get there early.." I frowned. But I still had a bit of time left. "Bye mom and dad! I'm going to school!" I was just about to race out the door until I heard my dad yell, "don't forget your damn pills this time mark!" I sighed and walked over to the little table I set them on.
