The next few days were very boring. I begged to go to Ares gym but, Matteo said I had to take it easy. At least until I get my stitches out, then I just have to be weary of my still healing bones. Starting school has been pushed back until my brothers feel I am healed enough to handle it.

I did finally get to tour the garden. I have always loved nature and being outside. I can see myself spending a lot of my time there, reading under a tree. I enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. I can already tell it's going to be my happy place.

Today is the day I get my stitches out. I can't lie, I'm nervous. Every time I have let Dr.Matteo get near me with his tools, it has always resulted in a lot of pain. However, he has reassured me removing my stitches will feel painless and he has never lied to me before so, that did help ease my nerves.

A knock at my door, followed by Matteo entering pulls me from my thoughts. I give him a hesitant smile.

"Ready to get those stitches out?" He asks overly excited.

I just stick my tounge out at him, in an effort to hide my growing anxiety.

"Come on, bambina." Matteo says holding his hand out for me to take.

Wordlessly, I take his hand and let him guide me to wherever you go to get stitches removed. To be honest, I'm not really paying attention to my surroundings until Matteo drops my hand. He uses both his hand to enter a passcode to a door. It's only now to I realize we are on the forbidden third floor - well forbidden for me.

"Matteo, I-I can't be here." I panically whisper shout.

He raises a confused eyebrow, turning back to face me.

"And why is that?" Matteo also whispers in response.

Did he forget about the rules? Seriously?

"-cause it's the third floor. 'm not allowed on the third floor or basement" I say in a duh tone.

I watch as Matteo's face contorts into a look of realization.

"Oh... yeah..." He nervous chuckles.

I give him a blank look. I will not be breaking any more rules.

"I'm glad you remember the rules, but since I'm with you, you're allowed." He responds.

I begin nervously fidgeting with my fingers. I trust Matteo, I really do. But, my trust has been broken before. I won't fall for tricks as easily anymore.

"..erm.. c-can... I ask Lorenzo?" I finally ask avoiding eye-contact.

Matteo sighs but pulls his phone out handing it to me after dialing Lorenzo's number. I listen to it ring twice, anxiously shifting my weight from foot to foot - well foot to boot.

"Matteo? Is everything alright?" Lorenzo greets in his scary voice.

I gulp in response, I do not like this voice.
