I find myself staring at the door. It has been barley five minutes since Matteo and Lorenzo left. I have no idea what to do with myself. Lorenzo's rules never mentioned anything on what I can and can't do. Does that mean I free to do whatever I want?
A tap on my shoulder pulls me out of my thoughts. Slightly flinching, I turn to see who it is. Bruno stands before me, I watch as his eyes rake over my outfit.
"Lorenzo just texted me, told me we have to go shopping. You're literally swimming in our clothes." He informs me chuckling.
Even though his comment was lighthearted, I suddenly feel insecure. Looking down at my - now unfolding - pant legs, I sigh.
"Hey, as cute as you look in our clothes, you need some of your own. Yeah?" Bruno reassures seeing my long face. How are these guys so good at reading me?
"Oh o-okay." I mutter in response.

Walking over to the door, I put my shoes on. I wait patiently just like Bruno instructed me. Growing bored, I begin observing my shoes. My beat up converse have worn down holes in the soles. Personally, I think it gives them character. That is, until I step in a puddle. Then I have to deal with soggy socks. No one likes soggy socks. Maybe I do need to go shopping.
"Alright, let's go" Bruno says, interrupting my thoughts.
I look up to see Luca and Ares are also coming. Great. Who knows, maybe we could use some bonding. After all, I did just meet them yesterday.
"We have to get you fitted for your school uniform first. Then, we can buy anything and everything you want sorellina." Bruno tells me.
I just nod my head in response. I've noticed the only brothers strict on verbal responses are Ares and Lorenzo.
Bruno ushers me outside just as Ares pulls a shiny Ranger Rover out of the garage. I will never get used to this wealth.
Luca opens the backdoor for me motioning for me to go in first. Luca sits beside me, Bruno passenger seat and Ares driving. I hope he's a good driver.
Once we are all settled in the car, I expect Ares to start driving. He doesn't. Why isn't he driving?
"Seatbelt." Ares grits glancing at me through the rear view mirror.
Quickly, I buckle my seatbelt not wanting to upset him further than he already seems to be. How did he know I wasn't buckled? Oh my gosh, maybe he has eyes on the back of his head.
The car ride remained silent. I'm starting to think it's not just me who's antisocial. Come to think of it, my brothers have never had to socialize with a sister. Let alone a sister many years younger than them. I guess we are all learning.
Not soon enough, we arrive at what looks to be a shopping mall. I eagerly exit the car, anything is better than that suffocating tense silence.
The four of us begin walking to the mall entrance. Me struggling to keep up. Why do I have to be so short?
