Waking up to the sun shining in my eyes and voices downstairs. "No you can't just show up and expect me to give her to you." "shes my daugter too Vanessa" "So fucking what do you really expect her to just go live with you? your nothing but a stranger to her gerard". I pulled my sore body out of bed and walked to the stairs debating weither or not it was a good idea to go down to the living room. Finally i just decided that it would be better to find out what was going on. I walked into the living room to see 2 guys that i didn't know talking to my mother and George. Everyone stopped talking and looked at me. "Rayne go up to your room" George ordered me. One of the guys came rushing over to me "Rayne hunny what happened to your face?" he looked truely concerned. I just looked away and my mother cut in. "She got into a fight at school Gerard." At the mention of his name my eyes widened. i threw my arms around him "Y-your my d-d-dad?" i whispered "yes Rayne i'm your dad" i hugged him tight. "please don't leave me here" i started to cry. "RAYNE GO TO YOUR BEDROOM NOW!" George stood up and yelled at me. I quickly ran up the stairs and hid in my room. After a few minutes there was a soft knock on my door. "Rayne?...its your uncle Mikey" i slowly moved out of my hiding spot and opened the door. " Rayne why are you so afraid of george?" Uncle Mikey had a look of pure concern on hisface.Tears flowed from my eyes "I-I can't tell you i'm sorry" i couldn't look him in the eye. "Is he hurting you?" I just looked away "I can't tell you but i can give you this" I walked over to my desk and grabbed the notebook that i wrote everything george has done to me since i was 7 in. Walking over to Mikey i handed him the book. "Please read it...." i whispered and Mikey gave me a hug. "I promise i will" He walked out of my room. Not long after I heard a car leave and George stomping up the stairs. 'Oh no please not again' I hid under my bed. "Where are you stupid bitch" I tried to stay as still as possible. George left my room and i quickly tried to gather a few things but i had no luck. My bedroom door flew open and george stood there looking pissed as ever. "YOU STUPID BITCH!!!!" he grabbed me by the hair and threw me onto the floor. When he started undoing his belt i knew he was going to rape me again. Once George left my room i laid on the floor until it became dark. Too afraid to move. I prayed that Gerard would come back and take me away from here.
Mikey's P.O.V
Gerard was in the shower so i decided it would be a good time to read the journel Rayne gave me. As I read more of it the anger grew inside me yet i was crying. 'Why her? shes been hurt so much' When i got to the last and most recent page the date on it was yesturdays. As i read the page Gerard walked out of the bathroom. "That fucker raped her gerard. he raped her!" Gerard just looked at me with tears in his eyes and grabbed his phone. I knew he was going to call the police. When they showed up I gave them Raynes notebook. One of the officers read it and left to make a call to a social worker.
