Y/n's p.o.v.

I was woken up to the sound of voices outside the shed. "Eddie." I whispered starting to shake him. "Eddie!" I said slightly louder.

"Hmm five more minutes." He mumbled sleepily, pulling me closer. I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but smile at the action.

"Eddie there's people outside." I told him. By the time I got the last word out he had already shot up grabbed a bat and stood in front of me protectively.

"Whatever happens I got this." He told me but I think he might have been saying it more to himself. I watched nervously as the shed door opened and Eddie jumped onto one of the guys holding him in a chokehold with the bat.

"Eddie! Eddie! It's us!" I heard Dustin's voice.

"Dustin?" I asked climbing out of the boat. I looked around to see Dustin, robin, max, Nancy, and Steve who Eddie had in a chokehold.

"Y/n? What are you doing here?" he asked me.

"I could ask you the same thing." I turned to eddie. "Oh my god Eddie let Steve go, we're fine." I told him pulling him off of Steve, Steve dropped to the ground trying to catch his breath with his hand against his throat. "Oh Steve are you alright?" I asked going to his side to examine his neck.

"Yeah I'm fine." He said standing up and giving me a hand to help me up. I thought I saw a look of anger flash across Eddie's eyes but I should be wrong.

"Will someone just explain to me what happened and who these other people are." Eddie asked.

"Eddie this is robin and Steve, they're old friends of ours, I'm sure you already know max and Nancy, y/n's sister." Dustin explained. Eddie made his way to stand closer to me, while keeping an eye on Steve.

"Now what are you doing here y/n?" Nancy asked.

"I was kinda with Eddie when the whole Chrissy thing happened so I've been hiding out with him since." I told them."

"Well Chrissy's not the only victim now." Dustin exclaimed.

"What? Who else has it happened to?" I asked.

"A guy named Fred who's in the newspaper club with me, we went to try and report about the Chrissy thing where Eddie lives and then he walked off on his own, eventually I found his body like Chrissy's." Nancy explained.

"Oh god nance I'm sorry." I told her.

"Don't be, we've dealt with similar shit before." She said.

"Too often." Steve added.

"But we're here to help now." Robin said.

"I know it might seem crazy but stuff like this has happened before." Dustin said to him.

"Yeah I already told him about all that stuff." I told the group rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly.

"But that's why we needed to find you, if they're back again then we need to know." Max stated.

"And prepare." I nodded.

"What happened to Chrissy, was almost like she was at the hands of a spell caster." Eddie said sadly.

"A dark wizard." Dustin said in realization.

"Vecna." Dustin and I both say.

"Well now that we know you guys are safe we'll come back tomorrow with some food. Try not to get into anymore trouble." Dustin told us. Eddie and I nodded as the group left. I closed the shed door behind them.

"Well it's still pretty late so we should try to get back to sleep." Eddie stated clinging back into the boat, I did the same and eventually we both managed to drift back off to sleep. I was awoken to Eddies body jumping out of the boat and looking out through the window?

"Eddie? What's going on?" I asked tiredly.

"Just lay back down sweetheart, I thought I heard something outside." He said just as the door flung open scaring the shit out of him. Dustin peaked his head in. "Jesus Christ dude, don't do that!" Eddie said.
"We brought snacks" Dustin smiled handing us the bag. Eddie and I quickly rifled through the bag scarfing the snacks down our throats. "So we got some good news and some bad news." Dustin said. "How do you prefer it?"

"Bad news first, always." Eddie said.

"Alright bad news, we tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you. Also they're pretty convinced you killed Chrissy." Dustin finished.

"Like a 100% convinced you killed her." Max added.

"And the good news?" I asked the group.

"Your name hasn't gone public yet, and they haven't mentioned y/n at all so she seems to be in the clear." Robin stated. "But if we found out about you it's only a matter of time before others do to."

"Ain't really good news then is it." I stated.

"No, you being in the clear is good news." Eddie said.

"Once the news gets out though everyone and their shallow-minded mother is going to be gunning for you." Robin added.

"Hunt the freak right?" Eddie tried to joke.

"Exactly." Robin nodded.

"Shit." I whispered.

"So before that happens we need to find vecna, kill him, and prove your innocence." Dustin proclaimed like it was the easiest thing in the world.

"That's all Dustin, that's all?" Eddie stared at him annoyed.

"Yeah no that's pretty much it." Dustin smiled.

"Listen Eddie, I know everything that Dustin's saying sounds totally delusional, but like I've told you, we've been through this kind of thing before." I said to him with my hand on his shoulder.

"Bottom line though I really feel like we've got this." Robin stated.

"Now if only El was here and she hadn't lost her powers then  we could probably finish this up a lot quicker." Steve mentioned.

"So now we're stuck in the brainstorming faze." Max added. The group tried to calm Eddie down more but it just seemed like they were making it worse. I began to rub his back.

"We've got this Eddie, I told you before I wouldn't let anything happen to you and I'm not going to break that promise." I smiled at him. He smiled back, his body becoming more relaxed at my words. All of a sudden we began to hear sirens in the distance.

"Oh shit." Steve muttered.

"Tarp tarp!" Robin stated quickly throwing the tarp back over the two of us. The rest of them headed to keep an eye out the window, Watching the police drive past.

"They must be heading towards Fred's crime scene." Nancy stated. "We should head out for now try and find out some more stuff. If people see our car here they'll start questioning things."

"You're right, we'll be back later with hopefully some better news, stay safe guys." Dustin added before they all left again quickly driving off.
