Butterflies on my tongue

Two days ago my brain activated it's genius function and suddenly everything for this story came together. All the little puzzle pieces fit. Therefore, I couldn't wait to upload it, although I only have one finished chapter at this point. No worries though, I have two more months left of summer break and I will be putting them to good use :D

So, in other words, it will be a little while before I start to upload the story itself.

This fic will be a bit dark, especially at the start. Our OC, Maeve, is struggling with depression after her boyfriend died and is generally in a really dark place. The first few chapters will feel heavy, a bit boring sometimes, but it is necessary for the purpose of understanding the beginning of her character arc :) Now, a few TRIGGER WARNINGS

- TW depression (like I said)

- TW toxic relationship

- TW abuse

- TW mentions of rape

- TW eating disorders (food guilt, binge-eating...)

- TW? eventual smut

For now, I don't know if there will be any others, but I will add them here if it comes to that. By the way, if you're reading this story and you come across something that also needs a TW and I haven't added it here yet, feel free to tell me! I can get so into the story that I forget how it feels for others to read it.

I want to make some things clear: YES, Eddie and Maeve will fall in love. YES, there will be smut (don't know how much though because it'll be my first time writing it haha). YES, Eddie helps Maeve conquer her depression, BUT her mental health doesn't improve because she falls in love with him. It's kind of the other way around. Eddie helps her realize who she is again and she'll start to fall in love with herself again. Her fatuation for him just happens besides that hihi.

This story will happen during the storyline of Stranger Things season 4, but it's like it doesn't happen in this fic because I'm way too lazy to write all this canon stuff, welp.

It will be on Wattpad & AO3 <3

OK, I thinks that's it. See you later losers. (who am i kidding, i'm a loser myself)
