I was walking through the footpath, Which was wet due to the rain that had just stopped pouring. Holding tightly onto the straps of my bag, I got out of the shed, which I took as a shelter from the rain.
I started to walk. I looked around.
People walking in my direction and the opposite, Some going to work, some like me going to school, Others talking on the phone, while the rest talking with their friends.
Shops on the side of the footpath are getting opened, Some even has a little amount of customers by now. The vehicles going through the road peacefully with some honking here and there.
I gazed at the sky. I could see the sun trying to come out throw those grey clouds Which are slowly moving aside. The birds flying, some singing with their melodious voice.
A cold breeze blew giving me goosebumps. Some droplets of rain fell on me because of the small wind.
I inhaled the air Which was a mixture of sweet smell of the coffee, the flowers, The rain and the smoke from the vehicles.
I looked forward and proceeded to walk ahead. Today, the first of day of the new academic year. A small smile tugged on my lips.
