6 - suprise

i wake up to someone slowly shaking my shoulder and whispering my name.

i open my eyes slowly and see louis smiling at me.

"you okay?" he softly asks, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. i nod and a small smile forms on my face. louis gets out the car and comes to my door. he opens it and helps me out.

"let's take you home." he says and takes me to the door.

"do you have a key?" he asks.

i nod and give it to him from my purse, he then takes it and quietly opens the door.

"you don't have to be quite. nobody's home, ari is out with her boyfriend and the workers are off today. it's just me." i chuckle.

he doesn't say anything. and opens the door letting me in. he takes my heels and purse then takes me to the couch.

"um do- would- you- wait. never mind." he says. "i better get going."

"louis?" i say.

he turns.

"can you stay for a bit? i get really lonely." i ask.

he looks into my eyes then sighs.

"just for a bit. until your warm and fall asleep, then i'll leave." he says.

i nod and then he walks over to me and looks around for something. he takes the 2 blankets on the other couch and walks back over to me.

"wait i'll be back in 2 mins." he says. he heads outside, and comes back 2 minutes later with some clothes.

"i'm gonna get changed, do you want me to bring you some clothes?" he says walking back from locking the door.

"please, just head up to my bedroom, there's supposed to be some joggers and a crop on my bed. if you can throw that down i'll get ready. you can get dressed in my room. second door to your left." i smile.

he runs up and throws them down then shouts, "sorry!". i laugh slightly then get the clothes and change. i wear the grey joggers and instead of the crop, he dropped a grey hoodie which has 'arctic monkey' written on it. i wear them and louis comes down with his eyes closed.

"are you changed?" he asks as i'm putting up my hair.

"yeah" i say. he opens his eyes and walks over. he takes the blanket and puts it over me, then takes the other one and wraps it around himself, as he sits down.

louis pov

i take a seat next to her and we just sit there listening to the sound of rain. only the lamp next to the tv is open, there's no other light on and it's dark.

she yawns and rests her head on my shoulder. i slightly turn to look at her and notice she's about to fall asleep. i slide down a bit so she's more comfortable then look at her and see that she's asleep. i smile down at her and sit there.

does she really like me?

my phone beeps and i notice it on the table. i reach it and get it, trying not to move because y/ns asleep. then, i open the text.
