Chapter 6

I walked over to Brandon's car , Brandon leaning against it, he was holding a lighter flicking it open and closed over and over

I walked up to his car and smiled "hey"I said "hey" he replied "I need to tell you something but please don't get mad"  he stared at me for a while his piercing blue eyes glued to mine

I said he looked away then looked at me with a concerned look "are you pregnant"  his eyes met mine once again, just let it out I tell myself , I slowly looked down my eyes suddenly not able to meet his and slowly I nodded

The next words that came out of his mouth shocked me , " when's your next doctors appointment" I looked up " Saturday " I replied

He looked at me with a hint of something, happiness? I shook it off " I'm coming with you" my thoughts were interrupted "ok" I said still not meeting his gaze
"I'm sorry" I said the words just spilling from my mouth
"Sorry for what, it takes two" he said as he lifted up my chin so our eyes could finally meet again.

I was shocked he would care so much my mom said that he would just leave me alone with his baby.
he gave me a ride to his house and said we should tell his parents together that way that would be a little less upset.

As we pulled up to the same house I had almost forgotten it looked different more elegant less,  well, trashy.  He walked around the side of his bright red Jeep opening the car door for me and helping me down
"I'm nervous"
"So am I"

We pushed open the big wooden doors to his colossal house
"Mom I'm home" he yelled out
A small girl came running up to him instead he picked her up and said in a silly voice
"Hey Bea"
"Hi Brandon" she says poking his cheek
"Who's the girl?" She said noticing my presence
"Hi I'm Colleen"
"Hi I'm Beatrice but you can call me Bea I'm six" she smiled still in his arms
"Well it's nice to meet you"
She jumped out out of his arms and ran away just as a tall woman came around the corner " Brandon honey is that you?" She said suddenly noticing me
"Hello dear" she said with a warm smile.
