CHAPTER ONE "𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙤𝙨 𝙞𝙣 ?"
Adella walked alongside her uncle, Horace, to the cafeteria with intentions of meeting the new superheroes. She was in her uncle's office when the staff went to tell them about how two seemingly young people just saved The Crusher's life. As they walked into the cafeteria all the lights were off and Alan's voice could be heard echoing off the walls.
"Alan?" Horace questioned, going to turn the lights on. Another voice could be heard yelling about their punishment being 'Alan'.
"Have you been playing make believe again?" Adella teased her twin brother as she walked closer to him to grab the mug in his hands.
"Alan, what are you doing in the cafeteria?" Horace questioned his nephew. "Adella is that my mug?"
"I wasn't using it!" Both twins exclaimed at once. Adella rolled her eyes and hit Alan's arm, knowing he was obviously the lying one.
"I was literally with you. You know I'm not the one lying here," Adella dragged out her last sentence looking towards her brother.
"Whatever, send it over," Horace laid his palm out flat.
Adella rolled her eyes but did as she was asked to and used her telekinesis to place the mug on her uncle's palm. The two boys there widened their eyes and seemed to be amazed at the girl's actions.
"Anyway," Horace placed the mug on the table and turned towards the boys. "I'm Dr. Horace Diaz, head of the hospital. Who are you and what can you do?"
"Well, I'm Kaz, this is Oliver and I can do this," he turned to pick up a tissue and placed it on his face, tongue and nose sticking out of it. Everyone in the room made faces of disgust at Kaz's demonstration.
"Anybody can do that!" Horace said, causing Kaz to bring the tissue off his face.
"He meant what powers do you have," Adella cleared up Horace's statement. She took the tissue from Kaz and threw it in the garbage can, quickly wiping her hands on her lab coat.
"Oh well we don't have any powers," Kaz responded for both him and Oliver.
"What?!" Alan shot up from his seat. "You're normos? Normos can't know about Mighty Med. I'm gonna get a normo cage." Alan started stomping away towards the main hospital area before being stopped by Horace.
"Not so fast," Horace raised his hand, causing Alan to stop moving, literally.
"I wish I inherited that power," Adella laughed, clearly amused at her brother's stopping pose.
