Jealous

Me and my boyfriend Robin have been dating for 3 weeks now! When he confesses that he liked me I was shocked and of course said yes. It's been the best 3 weeks with Robin. He may seem tougher to others but to me he's definitely a lot more soft spoken and more gentle.

I was walking into first period when I suddenly bumped into Finney.

Finney - Oh hey y/n sorry about that I wasn't watching where I was going.

Me and Finney were close friends and that's how I got to know Robin.

I gave him a smile as I answered back.

y/n - Oh hi Finney it's okay I wasn't looking at where I was going either haha.

We went into our class since we had first period together. We actually had a lot of classes together. We had first, third, lunch, and last period together.

As we walked into class I sat next to Finney and the lesson started.

~time skip at lunch~

As me and Finney got to lunch we sat at our lunch table with Gwen and Robin. I sat next to Robin and we began eating. Lunch was fun with them there was something always to laugh about. As I was laughing at a joke Gwen made i had looked over at Robin and he showed a small smile and then went back to eating. He hasn't even said a word since the beginning of lunch. I'll ask him about it after lunch is done.

[ Robin POV ]

y/n and Finney have been talking a lot more than usual. I know they have most of they're classes together but I can't help but feel jealous? What if she leaves me for him? I don't want to think of that. But I can't help but see how close they have gotten.

~after lunch~

[ y/n POV ]

I went up to Robin and asked him if he was okay since he hasn't been as talkative. 

y/n - Hey Robin? Are you okay? You seem a bit off today.

Robin - Oh yeah I'm alright y/n don't worry.

y/n - Are you sure? You don't seem like your usual self today. You've been acting more quiet.

Robin - Yeah yeah I'm fine. Let's just get to class.

We walked to class silently together since we both had that period together. I'm going to ask him after school what's wrong again. I know he said it's nothing but I can't help but wonder what's on his mind.

~time skip at last period~

I was sitting next to Finney. Robin was still on my mind. I decided to ask Finney about it to see if he's noticed anything.

y/n - Hey Fin have you noticed anything odd with Robin?

Finney - Uh no why?

y/n - Well at lunch didn't you notice that he wasn't as talkative as he usually is? He would just smile but he didn't talk at all. I feel like somethings up.

Finney - I did notice that actually. Did you try asking him.

y/n - I did ask him. But he said that it was nothing and not to worry. But I can't help but worry.

Finney - Well maybe try asking him again maybe he'll tell you then.

y/n - Thats what I'm planning to do. Imma ask him after school I need to know what was wrong.

Finney - Okay tell me what happens.

y/n - I will.

~after class~

After class was done I hurriedly went to put my stuff in my locker and went to find Robin.

I found him walking on the sidewalk already. I ran up to him I needed to know what was wrong.

y/n - Robin wait up!

Robin - Oh hey y/n what's up?

y/n - Robin are you really okay. You seem like somethings bothering you.

Robin - Uhh no I'm totally fine.

y/n - Okay now I know somethings wrong. You can tell me I won't judge you or anything.

Robin - Are you sure? It's kinda dumb..

y/n - I'm sure.

Robin - Fine well..

He took a breath and continued.

Robin - It's just that you and Fin have been talking a lot more than usual and I don't know I just feel jealous I guess? I just feel like you two talk too much with each other. I'm scared that you might start liking him and leave me for him.. Its dumb.

y/n - Oh Robin.. Me and Finney are friends and only friends. I will never leave you for anyone. I see him as my brother. There's no way I would like him. Plus he likes someone that's why me and him have been talking so much. He's been asking me on how to talk to her.

Robin - Oh well now I feel dumb. Im sorry for thinking you'd leave me I just got scared.

y/n - Its okay I understand I probably would've felt the same too.

I pulled him into a hug and we walked home hand in hand.

The next day he was back to his old loud talkative self.
