Will's pov:

Me and el we're getting ready for a trip that me, el, Jonathan, argyle, Mike, Steve, max, Lucas, dustin, and robin were going on!

We were going to the beach and I was super excited, I've been waiting to do something for so long. I also get to see all my friends I haven't seen in months.

I finished packing everything and I stared at my teddy bear that was on my bed. Nobody knew that I cuddled with stuffed animals except el and jonathan. I decided that I would bring it, I didn't go anywhere without him.

Once I was done I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs where everyone was. Me and el sat on the couch and started having a random conversation. It wasn't long before I heard our doorbell ring. I went to the cabinet and grabbed a few snacks to last us all for the ride.

Jonathan opened the door and greeted everyone. I got up and walked over to everyone and also greeted them. We sat down and talked for a little until Steve told us that it was time to go. I grabbed me and el's bags and headed for the car.

Steve: okay let's decide who's riding with who

Jonathan: alright.

Steve: okay Mike, will, max, robin, and el are riding with you Jonathan and the rest are with me.

Jonathan: alright! Is everyone okay with that?

Everyone: yes.

Will's pov:

We got inside of Steve's car and I sat by mike. I grabbed my headphones that I had packed and started listening to music. I had almost forgot about the painting I had. I was still listening to music and I saw Mike grab the painting. I quickly snatched it out his hands and put it back in my bag.

He gave me a confused looked but I just ignored it and continued listening to my music. About 10 minutes later I felt tapping on my shoulder. I took my headphones off and looked over and Mike.

Will: do you need something Mike?

Mike: well kinda.. the girls are asleep and I'm bored and have no one to talk to.

Will: oh. Well I guess we can talk about something

Mike: okay. What's that painting you have??

Will: oh that? It's nothing really

Mike: can I see it?

Will: i- umm no you can't sorry

Mike: aww why not willy? :(

Will: don't call me that. And just because.

Mike's pov:

I knew will wasn't gonna budge so I decided I would just look at it myself, I mean how bad could it possibly be? I reached for the bag and snatched the painting. Will tried to grab it but he couldn't and it was too late before I opened it. I was shocked... I never knew will could paint like this nor paint something like this.

I looked at the smaller boy who now had formed a big blush on his face. He turned away from me but since we were in the same car there wasn't much he could do. I grabbed will's hand and held it tightly.

(Whispering) Mike: will..? Is that us together?

(Whispering) Will: u-umm.. I don't know maybe..?

( whispering) Mike: I never knew you felt this way.. why didn't you tell me??

(Whispering) Will: well obviously because I like you! I mean you probably think I'm a freak don't you..?

(Whispering ) Mike: what!? No I don't think that you're a freak!!

(Whispering) Mike: look Mike you don't have to lie okay? I know it's not normal for me to like you.

(Whispering) Mike: well actually.. it's kind of a good thing that you like me back.

(Whispering) Will: what do you mean mike? I don't understand..

(Whispering) Mike: just listen! Look wilk I've liked you ever since we found you in the upside down.. I just didn't know how to tell you so I told el and she said she'd be my cover up. So you wouldn't think I liked you.

(Whispering) Will: what..? Why wouldn't you think I wouldn't like you.. I mean everyone calls me a fag.

(Whispering ) Mike: Will I could care less about people calling us names! I love you no matter what and I mean more than just a best friend..

Mike's pov:

I stared at will and he looked out the window sadly. I took his hand again and he turned to me with tears in his eyes. I pulled him into hug and we stayed like that for about 5 minutes. I didn't mind that will was crying on me, he deserves more than the world could ever give.

Will finally looked up and me and I wiped his tears off his face. Will stared me in my eyes and I felt butterflies in my stomach. I grabbed wills face and pulled him into a kiss. I didn't realize that max and el were awake until el started squealing.

El: I knew it!! I told you he liked him max!

Max: it was so obvious though.

El: lookkk! Will's blushing!! This is too cute omg!

Mike's pov:

I laughed with the girl and will couldn't make eye contact with none of us. Soon enough we all started talking about what we were gonna do when we got to the beach. Max and el started having their own conversations so I decided I would talk more with will.

I started talking to him but I noticed he was dozing off so I grabbed his head and put it on my shoulder. I smiled at will before his eyes shut and he had drifted away to sleep. I kissed his forehead and fell asleep right next to him.
