"thank you so much, Nick" I smile as we walk hand in hand to his car
"so did you enjoy it?" he smiles slyly at me
"Yes! it was beautiful the art pieces looked as if they were coming to life, it gave me so much painting ideas, I cant wait to start when I get home!" I yell enthusiastically, as a child that just watched a new movie
When he found out I paint for fun, he took that to his advantage and decided to bring me to an open art gallery.

"We ain't done just yet, ma" he opens my car door, waiting for me to get in before closing the door for me.
I wait until he gets into the car to ask him "where are we going now then?"
"its a surprise" he leans closely, placing a kiss on my cheek before starting the car and backing out of the parking lot.
"oh wait" he stops at a red light, leaning over and blindfolding me. Cant have you ruining the surprise now, can we" he chuckles lowly
I take note to be aware of my surroundings just to be safe.
After 2 left turns, a right turn and a lot of driving, I feel the car come to a sudden halt.
I hear his door open, shortly after I hear mine open
"where are we?" I ask as he helps me out of the car. I cant help but feel a tingly feeling in my heart because nobody has ever done this shit for me
"you gon' see just wait" he laughs as he takes me up a flight of stairs
We reach the end of the staircase and he mumbles "Stand right here"and I hear his footsteps getting further from me.
"alright mama, take off the blind fold"
i am left speechless, staring at the candles and roses around the table set for two; the glass window, showcasing the city lights and beautiful night sky
"this is so beautiful...thank you" I turn around engulfing him in a hug

after a long pause of silence I pull away from the hug and ask "do I get more dates like this?" with a giggle after
"anything you want, baby girl"
I guess I have boyfriend now
The dinner went smoothly, we just talked and laughed and enjoyed each other's company
"thank you for tonight...it was amazing" I smile, wrapping my two arms around my small frame
"goodnight Senai" he places a soft kiss on my cheek, before turning on his heels an walking back down my driveway towards his car
I wait for him to get into it, and drive off, out of my sight then turning and entering my house and shutting the door behind me
walking upstairs I pull my phone out of my small purse and dial Justice's number before walking into the bathroom
I prop my phone up on the sink, the only sound evident is the tap running and the sound of my phone ringing
after what felt like an eternity, she finally answers but her hair all over the place, her make up looks smudged, she looks dazed but high at the same time
"bestie...you good?" I pause from removing my make up and look at her
"girl...i just got some dick!" She whisper-yells, slurring her words and giggling like crazy
"girl is you drunk" I burst out laughing, and she join me laughing
yep she's drunk for sure
"who you got did from? and was it good" i laugh, picking up my phone and walking over to my room
"from.....from Bronze fine assss'"
"Girl-" I snort, quickly covering my face
"How was your date with Mr perfect?" She asks groggily, with a hint of disgust in her voice
"He's not perfect he's just very....nice and experienced I guess" I shrug, propping my phone up on a pillow as I begin changing out of my outfit of the night
"Did y'all fuck?"
"What? No I just met him" I scrunched up my face
"You didn't hesitate for bloody-"
"You do not get to slut shame me, Justice. You sleep with different guys all the time. I only fucked 2 niggas. You know what goodnight, talk to me when you're sober" I wave my hands around before repeatedly pressing on the red end call button until her face is no longer present on the screen.
"Trifling" I release a gust of air before sitting on my bed and taking a picture, posting it to my story.
Placing my phone on the charger, I lay my head on my pillow, allowing it access to my dreams as I drift off to snooze central.
Got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one.
