The news of her brothers had pushed Molly into a depression that she lived in for many years. Nothing heaven could offer could brighten her spirits. She stayed in her grief, a state of melancholy.
Every extermination she sat on her balcony, toasting to her brothers being mercifully spared. She would stay up all night until the exterminators returned when the morning light began to peak over the horizon. Only when her body was washed over by exhaustion did she sleep that night. This was how she existed until the light of hope appeared in a rumor.
Redemption for sinners in the form of a hotel.
Nothing was set in stone, but all of the heavens gossiped about the notion. There were redeemed souls in heaven, but they had redeemed themselves in life. Was it possible to redeem a soul after death? Did a soul want to redeem itself after being sentenced to hell? Some angels scoffed at the idea, it had never been done before. To souls like Molly, this gave them hope to reunite with families who were separated.
Not every soul belonged in hell.
Bad actions made in life didn't mean a soul was purely evil. There were souls like Tony, who were good at heart but found themselves as victims of circumstance. It seemed like many angels agreed, there was plenty of room for more redeemed souls, and fewer demons meant the extermination wasn't necessary. Fewer lives were lost on both sides. The fighting could finally stop and they could coexist peacefully.
This gave Molly the motivation to train, to find the passion she had thought died the day the news of her brothers being in hell. It sparked joy in many which were only amplified by their unity in the belief in this one simple idea. The joy had been noticed by the higher angels, surely the people had spoken.
They wanted Princess Charlotte, daughter of the fallen angel Lucifer, to succeed.
This joy and warmth had the intensity of the sun. For the first time in what felt like an eternity, Molly had felt hope. It took the silver city by storm, which was fueled further when the interview played on television. It was the first time any earth-born angel had seen the face of Charlotte or learned of her existence.
This being born in the fiery depth had the soul and spirit of a heavenly angel.
Whether she knew it or not, Charlotte had the love and support of people who would have been hers had fate been different. No one had that much support in heaven since the great battle of heaven eons ago. Molly was one of those who believed in Charlotte's message and joined the crowd of earth-born angels that walked to the palisades, singing in unison. Their message was clear, heaven needed to step in and help.
"You are not alone!" They sang in protest.
The group began to grow with higher-ranking angels joining when they realized what this would mean. Perhaps their growing voices would reach the almighty, their pleas to help one of them change the way things were. Even her mother joined the cause, despite her earlier views that her sons had deserved where they were.
That day her mother joined and sang at her side was one of the happiest days of her afterlife. They stood united. Both mother and daughter wanted Sebastian and Anthony to be able to redeem themselves, to have that possibility to come home.

Days after Charlotte's interview, there was finally something said by the archangels. All of heaven was gathered in the Colosseum. This was a rare occasion, but everyone eagerly awaited to hear what was going to be said.
"Brothers and sisters, children of god, let us beseech you."
It had been rare for the archangels to all be in one place.
