"From where I'm standing, you do not have much of a choice." The demon replied.

It seemed as though the demon could do what he wanted with much fight. However, what the demon didn't know is Molly had dealt with these kinds of men before, and looking weak got them to lower their guard. Lorenzo was that way when he was alive, just as much of an animal as the demon before her. Had the smug bastard hadn't been busy gawking at her body like prized meat, he would notice the venom dripping from her fangs and her hand beginning to move ever so slightly.

Her survival instincts were kicking in.

"This is your last chance." Molly snarled, "Back off and don't do anything stupid."

The demon chuckled darkly, taking it as an invitation to lean down to kiss her lips. The spider demon looked as though she were melting into the kiss before her fangs sunk into his tongue, melting it with her venom. the demon recoiled in pain as a chunk of his tongue was dangling from her mouth. Far from ladylike, and surely her nana would have scolded her for seeing such a sight, but men like this only responded to violence. She turned her head and spat out the chunk.

A mixture of blood and venom dripped off her chin. Her hair sprung to life, moving like a bunch of snakes behind her. Her eyes began to glow of a heavenly light. The blessings given to her to survive against the demons of hell were becoming easier to wield. Molly soon realized how the blessings surfaced, it relied on those fighting instincts that she had both in heaven and her previous life.

She had taken so much of his tongue that he couldn't speak, only letting out howls of angry noises as he lunged and pushed her into the brick wall by pinning her arms. The demon was going to make her pay. Unfortunately, his wrath blinded him from seeing the chunks of hair hitting him square on the nose, making a noise cracking sound to knock him back onto the ground.

Molly's long, voluminous locks of hair looked like serpents stroking down at the body of the demon. Some coiled around the neck of the demon while others punched his face. Soon, the hair raised the demon up to be above Molly. Her eyes glowed brighter, which started to make physical burns upon his body the longer she stared. The grip around his neck tightened before he was tossed like a ragdoll into the alleyway beside the building.

Molly walked into the alley, her eyes no longer glowed as she took a moment to breath and shut her eyes. She couldn't kill the bastard as much as she wanted to. It was in the ten commandments, thou shalt not kill. Even if both of them were already dead, she was not there to be an executioner. Her hair flowed behind her as she placed her heeled boot onto his chest, glaring daggers into his soul.

"Did your mother never teach you how to treat a woman?" Molly asked while shaking her head, knowing he could not answer, "I never want to see your face again. The next time I do? I won't be merciful." She said, her voice was ice cold. "That is not a threat." This kind of voice she could remember Priscilla talking in, or Constance. It would send shivers down the spines of those it was directed towards and those around to hear it. "That is a promise. Capisce?"

The demon only nodded as she lifted her boot off him and turned and walked out of the alley. It seemed clear the streets would not be the best place to rest after all. Molly wasn't sure how far away she was from the hotel, the scuffle made her lose the directions she had written down. Her hair moved vehemently as though it could sense more danger. The spider had no idea what sort of danger she was in for next. This was until her eye caught a shadow moving along the ground to meet up with a bystander and the sound of clapping.

"What a show!" The figure said, his smile gleamed in the darkness as he walked forward, "Such action, such drama, I was near the edge of my seat!" He walked forward and stood below the streetlight so that the spider could fully see him, "Tell me, were you ever an actress in your previous life? You have the talent for the picture show."

"... What?" Molly tilted her head in slight confusion. Performance? What performance? This wasn't some drama on television! "What are you talking about?"

"Your performance just now, it was simply moving!" The smiling figure said, holding the back of his palm against his forehead in a dramatic pose, "Most demons do not have an ounce of passion these days." He straightened his posture as he walked over. "I must say, spitting out his tongue was a nice touch, though I do believe you should clean yourself up." He grabbed a handkerchief and held it out in a gentlemanly manner.

The spider looked at the man then down at his handkerchief. Theodore did mention that they were not genuinely nice people in hell, any sort of help had a price. No one would do anything for free. What sort of consequence would be a result of taking this from him to wipe her face? She didn't want to find out, she only lucked out that Theodore and Carlyle had been genuinely nice demons.

"I can take care of it myself, thank you." Molly said as she readied her sleeve to wipe her mouth.

"Oh nonsense, let me." He replied, gingerly wiping her face with the handkerchief. It was strange how gentle his touch was against her face. As much as Molly wanted to move away, she couldn't. It wasn't until the demon buck moved the handkerchief away that she felt herself able to move. "There now, clean as a whistle. That's better, isn't it?" He chirped, his smile widened.

"Thank you, but really I could have did that myself." She noticed how the shadow from moments ago rejoined him at his feet. Odd, she had never seen a shadow move freely from its' master like that before.

"And ruin your sleeve with that vile demon's blood? Perish the thought!" He responded while putting away his handkerchief, "Men like that are hardly worth a lady's time let alone soiling an outfit over." Taking a soft bow, he held out his hand, "This has been entertaining, my dear, but I must be on my way now." He said, summoning his microphone staff before walking around her. "Toodle-oo."

"Wait-" Molly said as she turned her head and watched for a moment. His smile seemed familiar, almost like she had seen it before. Why did it seem so familiar? "I never got your name sir."

"What was that?" The deer demon stopped and turned his head, "I must be hearing things. Did you just ask for my name?"

"That's what I heard!" Said the microphone at the end of the staff, the eye looking back towards Molly.

He turned around and walked back, sticking to himself in delight. "Where are my manners?" Said the deer demon as he held out his hand, "You must be new, most demons know who I am." He said, his radio sounding voice sounded slightly clearer while introducing himself, "I am known as the radio demon, but you deae may call me Alastor."

"Alastor…" The spider replied softly, was he one of the overlords who Theodore and Carlyle tried warning her about? He hardly looked that demonic in appearance. "I'm Evie." She responded, raising her hand to shake his, but was surprised when the radio demon raised her hand to his mouth to peck the top of her palm with his lips.

"Evie... short for Evelyn no doubt, quite the lovely name you have chosen for yourself." Alastor said as he lowered her hand and let go. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Perhaps it was the familiar smile on his face, but Molly felt an odd sense of ease around Alastor. She had lowered her guard enough for her hair to calm itself from the previous encounter. "Forgive me, I would hate to trouble you Alastor," The spider said as she crossed her arms, the light peck on her hand left a soft blush on her cheeks, "Do you happen to know where the happy hotel is? I lost my direction."

"The happy hotel?" Alastor asked curiously as his eyebrow raised, "Ah, you mean the Hazbin hotel." What a coincidence this demoness was heading where he was going. "Yes, I was on my way there actually." Alastor straightened his suit and looked at her with his arms behind his back, "Would you like me to escort you?"

"Oh, you do not have to, you can just tell me where I need to go." Molly responded, though she watched Alastor shake his head.

"I would hate for a lovely young lady such as yourself, to run into such a coul creature again. It's hardly any trouble at all." He bent his right elbow, offering his arm to the spider demon, "I insist." He added. Alastor was rather curious about why this seemingly new demon wanted to be at the hotel. This was an interesting twist, he couldn't believe what luck seemed to grace him with.

"Alright." Molly replied. It was clear Alastor was going to be persistent, but she supposed it would not hurt to have a traveling companion. She hooked her hand to his arm and took a soft breath. Dawn was nearly approaching, and that meant she didn't have much time to rest before trying to redeem the soul that volunteered to be in the hotel. "You lead the way." She added.
