Pete's POV

The war was coming to an end. Everything was seemingly fine. But I hope the thing that happened never happened, cause it changed too much. Making my way upstairs, this is what I saw. Khun gun dead on the floor, khun korn holding a gun in front of him and Vegas. Oh no.. He was. Devastated. I got the picture. Khun korn shot khun gun. This was expected. Either of the two brothers were gonna survive .

"Vegas, you and macau will be in my surveillance now" khun korn said and Vegas immediately pointed his gun to khun korn. That forced me to take out my gun and point to Vegas "Vegas.. Don't" that's all I can say to him. I know Vegas you don't feel the best. I know you're hurt but don't do stupid stuff right now please. It stayed that way for a few minutes and I can feel khun korn stare at me. The expression was indescribable. I let out a sigh when I saw Vegas put his gun down and stand walking away "veg-"

My eyes never left his body moving away. Without any thought, I removed the badge on my coat and the coat itself looking at khun korn "thank you for ignoring all the mistakes I made khun korn.. let me just make one more mistake today and choose my feelings over everything.. I can't ignore them" I bowed down tearing up. This is my choice. My own. Even if he shoots me right now, I'll always make this choice "take care of him. go" my head shot up when I heard him and nodded quickly, keeping the coat down nearly on the table with the badge, I bowed to khun kinn too and ran out crying. Vegas. I chose you Vegas. Please choose me too.

As soon as I ran down, my heart dropped. Vegas was fighting some bodygaurd. In a second Vegas was on the floor and the bodygaurd pointed a gun to his head "NO!"
Shoot. Silence engulfed. The bodygaurd shot dead.

My body fell on Vegas with a shot in the chest, I could feel myself loose it slowly "p-pete.. Pete!! Pete" he quickly put me down on the ground then held me in his arms so gently. The arms I always wished would hold me are finally holding me "Pete! Please! Open your eyes Pete. I'm sorry ! I'm sorry for everything Pete please dont leave" "Vegas... " a whisper came out of my mouth "I chose you.. " with that my eyes closed, the sounds muffling. Atleast I could tell him. I loved him too. I chose him. I always will choose him.
I will always love him. He's the first for me each time. I'm sorry for all I did to you Vegas. I think it's the heavens punishing me cause I broke your heart..

Short one I know but gonna update one more chapter :) this fanfic was my first ever and the response I got was immense. I can't believe people liked it. I wanna thank y'all for waiting for me and reading this. I can't thank y'all enough!
