I know this update is pretty late but I'm just struggling a little. Don't worry more updates coming your way. This is a short chapter but it's very sweet.

3rd person POV

"The minor family is coming up Pete" Pol informed Pete while he sighed "our priority is to save khun kinn and khun noo. Everyone else after that. Pol with me and porche, we will escort khun kinn out. For the others, scatter on the floors and kill them all" Pete explained and everyone went to work. The minor family had attacked the major family and it's a choas now. Continuous gun shots, blood everywhere and people dying, all just for some power and greed.

How did this happen?

[Following morning]

Pete's POV

"Call the doctor! Now!" Khun kinn shouted making the bodygaurds to rush to call the doctor. Khun korn suddenly fell on the floor while talking about the plan in the meeting. Everyone was taken aback and khun kinn was losing it. Porche kept him calm while they treated khun korn. Its becoming a mess. We were gonna attack the minor family undercover today. But seems like the plan isn't gonna work anymore. Seeing khun kinn cry was rare, and he wasn't crying but i can tell he would burst out any moment. To everyones surprise, khun kim visited too. He might seem like a brat but i know he cares for khun korn. Then there's khun noo, whos already crying "khun noo, nothing happened yet. Can you please calm down?" I tried to calm him down but tankhun is tankhun. He does what he wishes.

The doctor soon walked out and sighed " We somehow saved him but.. I'm afraid if he's gonna hold on any longer" silence fell all over the room. It was so quiet now. No one spoke a word before khun noo started crying loudly. Kim hugged him and rubbed his back. It was a sad yet heart warming moment. Atleast they had each other. I can see khun kinn didn't react much but just got up and walked away.

After a few hours of this, the family was too quiet. Everyone was worried for khun korn but suddenly a bomb dropped . The minor family visited. And no one had a good feeling for this. P'chan went down to greet them bura he already ordered me to keep looking at the screen and if something happens, escort the masters first and ensure the safety of everyone . So my eyes stayed there on the screen of the cctv. And there you go, in no time they pointing guns at each other. The war begins..

[Present]

Running through the hallways and shooting the gaurds, trying to save khun kinn. It was a choas, there were too many people but even among too many of them, I spotted him in no time. Holding a gun, wearing a suit colour I never saw him wear, he looked good. But this isn't the time to think that. Porche and kinn were hiding behind a wall while pol and me behind a pole, trying to shoot while hiding. But that jerk, he actually shot pol "pol!" I pulled him back behind the pole and checked him "I'm fine it's just the hand. I'm sure there's more people down pete. Porche wnd khun kinn will be fine together, you go and save the others" he slowly sat up. He's right. The two are fine. The others need to be saved. So I made my way down through the stairs to fight at the lower floors first. But weirdly. Whatever guards I tackled, they didn't seem to even fight me. They just let me kill them. Like everyone stopped shooting and just died by my hands. What's happening? Am I not worthy enough for your fights? Im the damn head body guard.

After almost hours of fighting and completely exhausted, I made my way up to see how's the status there. Pol did inform khun kinn and porche made it out but Vegas went behind them. Vegas.. Stop doing this please. My steps stopped when I saw what's happening. Porche on the floor, Vegas had his foot on him and pointing a gun to him while khun kinn tried to stop him "Vegas!" I shouted unconsciously. I can see the eyes turn to me as I hold my gun up "stop" porche was confused, and so was everyone. But he took the time to push Vegas away and ran off kinn quickly. Before Vegas could catch up, I was already pointing a gun to his chest. He too, pointed a gun "why are you doing this?" "Pete. You know it well. There's not just one reason" "this makes us enemies Vegas" "we aren't enemies pete. You know it. What you feel for me" "and what about you?" I watched his gun lower as he walked to me "Pete, I love you" it's like the world came to a stop. I can't believe this right now. "I'm sorry for saying it so late" he leaned in kissing me softly "if I die today, please be the one who shoots me-" he stopped with a punch landing on his face "you dare die, I'll bring you back from that hell you bastard" I don't know why I'm tearing up. People are dead around us, blood is there. But I'm happy. I can't be happier. But we don't have time for this, either of us.

Looking into each others eyes just once more, we ran opposite directions. If this is our fate Vegas, then I'm gonna turn that fate around just for you. I'll make sure we somehow are together.. No matter what the world says.

I'm very sorry for late updates. Like I said I'm stuck at stuff and struggling alot. But I'll update more today :)
