Under the mysterious dark of the "second hell", the green haired Adeptus was struggling to walk through the grey sand. Didn't even try to scream for help, no one could be there. But still, he was wondering what was with that place and how could he get out of there. The only thing he could do was to keep walking and walking and walking around.
When he passed by the next wall, a faded person figure was seen through his dead eyes. It had a short body, shorter than his, with bright clothes and blonde hair. The first person that could go through Xiao's mind was, of course, Aether. He tried to pronounce the traveler's name as he started to run to the person in front of him.  Words didn't come out of his mouth at the right time, when the blonde figure already left.
"Was it an illusion?..." he asked himself with no more strength after running.
Back to the world we all know, Teyvat, their trip ended too early because of the "flying emergency food" who chose some resting instead.
The three of them hid under a tree, protecting themselves from the wild weather.
The traveler hesitated to talk first, knowing that something was definitely wrong with his "friend". Meanwhile, the "friend" kept observating the blonde outlander, searching for his weak point that could give him the power he needed. 
Alatum knew what he needed to achieve. Half of a gold crystal was somewhere on Aether's body. That was the only thing he and his twin sister got left from the Golden God. Of course, the other half was on Lumine's body, the one who already got caught. But to recieve this amazing power, he had to combine those two crystals...
