It was pouring outside. It was the first rain to fall in Thailand after months of scorching heat.
Raindrops can be heard everywhere because the strong wind did not come to play.
It was getting close to sunset, and the sky was a beautiful bluish-orange with a hint of dark gray.
It was a perfect time to be sad and sulky, but not with the man tilting his head up to the sky, allowing raindrops to fall on his face. The heavy rain and the beautiful color of the sky provided the ideal setting for falling in love, being in love, and dancing over it.
"What are you doing Mile!? Get inside the car! You know it's the first rain in over a month, you're probably going to get sick you bast@rd!" Apo's voice echoed as their car came to a halt on a wide road. It was perched on a cliff's edge, surrounded by tall grasses and bushes.
Mile simply chuckled as he narrowed his vision over his Boyfriend, who was most likely shooting daggers into his eyes. Apo was so close to lash out at his tough-guy boyfriend.
" Romsaithong! Do you not hear me!?" Apo yelled half-heartedly. Mile, on the other hand, simply smiled and walked over to his enraged boyfriend.
He forced Apo to join him in the rain by opening the car door and grabbing Apo's wrist.
"Come on, Love, let's dance," Mile said, chuckling as Apo hesitated. He was almost kicking his boyfriend in the face.
" No! What are you thinking!? We'll get sick! You'll get sick! Now just get inside and don't even think of—- " Apo's sentence was cut short when Mile carried him on his back and he screamed to death.
Fortunately, this location is remote, with only a few cars passing by. It was more in Thailand's countryside.
" Mile! Ah! Will you put me down! I swear I'm going to kick you you bast@rd! Put me down! Ahh!" Apo was thrashing constantly when Mile did put him down, and both of them were already standing on the road getting soaked.
They did not budge an inch. They simply stood there staring at each other, their eyes stinging from the excessive rain. Everything seemed to move in slow motion. As they looked into each other's eyes, their heartbeats synchronized. Then, gradually, a smile crept across their faces.
Mile was the first to move, reaching for Apo's right hand as he stretched his arm, entwining their fingers. Apo understood immediately and placed his left hand on Mile's shoulder, while Mile yanked Apo's waist towards his body. Apo snuggled up against Mile's neck, his eyes closed. Feeling the warmth despite of the freezing rain and the harsh wind.
Mile whispered into Apo's ears, "I love you," and Apo immediately smiled upon hearing that from his Boyfriend.
They swayed and danced to the beat of their own music.
"This guy named Apo Nattawin loves you as well, always remember that," Apo said quietly. And he can feel Mile's embrace tighten in response.
They were drenched, and the rain had no intention of stopping.
Mile asked, "Will you dance with me forever, Love?" Apo responded by kissing His boyfriend on the shoulder.
Mile was probably the luckiest man alive because he ended up with the man he most desired. The man with whom he had fallen in love became his. Apo came to his rescue. He remembered the first time he saw him.
They attended different universities but were close enough to see each other at a nearby gym.
Apo was in his junior year, while Mile was about to graduate from college. He was initially taken aback by Apo's physical characteristics. He appeared to be an angel. With his beautiful eyes, perfect lips, and a waist that every girl would envy for his curves.
