~after class~

"Yo what's up?" Asked Ava.

"Could I talk to you about something? It's a thing that has been bothering me for the past few years.

"Of course, you can talk to me about anything. I'm your best friend after all." Remarked Ava whilst eater a pack of crisps loudly in front of me.

"Could you put that away first? It distracts me." I say as I slowly get nervous because I feel like this talk could potentially end our friendship.

"Yeah Sorry about that"

"I just wanted to ask you on why you are so against me liking Ni-ki. I mean it's not like he likes me back or anything so I wanted to know the reason. Since you get mad every time I talk about him."

Ava stops munching on her crisps and gives me a dead stare in the eyes. "It's because boys are disgusting.."

I make a confused face as I was super annoyed on what she just said in front of me.
"What.." I replied.

"All boys are the same Sofi. You like them, they like you back, they cheat and break you're heart!" Ava says as she progressively gets louder every word she said. To the point that the whole hallway was quiet whilst staring at us.

"Ava.. what the heck did you just say.. ALL BOYS ARE NOT THE SAME!" I screamed back whilst holding onto her hair not letting go to the point we were fighting. Pushing and shoving each other.

Everyone in the hallway was around us in a circle. They just stood there screaming the word 'fight!' repeatedly.

Ni-ki was there too. I didn't get to see his face properly as I was too busy fighting Ava. I felt like this wasn't right...

"Stop it girls!" I hear out my left ear. Next second I see Ni-ki pulling us apart. And it worked. We stopped fighting after that and everyone else's just went quiet and went back to what they were originally doing.

"What were you guys even fighting about?"

"Why do you even care.." I say whilst I make an angry stare towards him and fixing my clothes as they were messed up.

I walk off just to then realize that he actually cared about me for once. The one chance I got to properly talk to him I couldn't. At the same time; i didn't want to speak to him because of what happened before.
