Chapter 9

I have a quick shower because I didn't want to stink since Ni-ki was at my house. I didn't want him to judge me even more.

I get dressed and head down stairs. And no, I didn't forget to put on some perfume.

"You're finally here" says Ava.

I glance to my left and see Ava and Ni-ki both on my couch. Ni-ki was slouching and he looked extremely hot.

It was even better because he was wearing an oversized hoodie plus oversized joggers.

I bite my lips in the process of me walking towards them. I felt stupid so I stopped.

"So what bring you here?" I ask. Whilst sitting down opposite them as I didn't want to make it awkward by sitting next to them.

"What are YOU doing here?" Says Ava whilst emphasizing the word 'you' loudly.

"Well this is MY house?" I say with a confused expression on my face.

"Just get to the point.." I say, looking right to avoid eye contact.

"Well, explain yourself on why you haven't showed up to school for 2 weeks without notice. Why haven't you picked up any of my calls and why haven't you responded to my texts? Did you change you're number or something?" Ava says whilst standing up and getting more angry as she talked.

*gosh I didn't think she would react like that*

"Well... I was embarrassed and I didn't want to face anyone anymore so I decided to disappear..." I calmly say. Whilst Ni-ki rolled his eyes in frustration.

"Can we just go?" Asked Ni-ki still in a slouched position. He still looked hot as ever.

"No I haven't finished my questions! In fact you should interact as well Ni-ki" replies Ava pointing at him.

"Why did you feel embarrassed in the first place?" Asked Ni-Ki looking uninterested.

"Well, I got embarrassed because of you.. I was embarrassed that you heard me talk about you and after that I bumped into you and felt even more embarrassed..." I shyly say looking downwards avoiding eye contact.

"You got your answer now Ava, I'm going." Says Ni-ki with a deep voice. In fact, his deep voice turned me on. I felt like biting my lips and kissing him with passion. Of course I couldn't as he didn't like me back unfortunately.

"Please don't go.." I shyly say. Whilst squinting my eyes shut and holding him back by grabbing onto his muscular arms.

As expected, he forcefully let go off me. "Don't ever think about touch me again or I'll break your arm of yours." He said in a serious tone.

He then walked away like nothing happened. I felt humiliated. I wanted to crush and die at that moment.

"Why doesn't be like me back!" I said crying tears of sadness and falling on my knees.

"Don't worry girl, maybe he's not the right guy for you and you should just stop trying." Advised Ava.

"No, I'm not that type of girl who gives up so easily. I must stay strong!" I advised myself. I stood up and patting my chest as I sign of strength.

"But not today, I'm exhausted." I said collapsing in exhaustion.

"Of course not.. well anyways, I'm off see you I don't even know. You better pick up my calls b***h!" Ava says waving goodbye in the process of walking out the front door.

"Alright!" I reply still on the floor tired.
