The following morning I was at my first day at work as a Canadian fire captain. Vivien made sure I got plenty of rest. I wrote her a check to pay for the inspection and the final payment to contractor once Rafl and her made sure the garage was done to my specification .

Some were hesitant to have a woman on top of being a lesbian captain and English woman at that. We would learn how to work together . If not,I would write them up and go through the channels if necessary to suspend or transfer them and hopefully not fire anyone .
Lunch time came around and Vivien brought me lunch and we together. She knows other days I would not be able to do have lunch with her because not knowing when I get a call to go with with a fire and or accident.
Snookums the inspector came by the garage past inspection so I handed her the check. If it hadn't,I would still pay her. It looks good. As I was leaving they were doing the drywall and will paint. The garage is painted and the roof is completed as well. Some of the shingles came off so they put new ones up at their expense. I am glad at their expense. How is work going? Boring I am just reading alot. We finished eating and conversed a little more. Some of them took pictures with her when they recognized who was my girlfriend. She was polite and answered their questions. I kissed her goodbye and went back to reading .
I returned to find the garage looking good and they were gone for the day .

I text Hollie after the alarm company added the fourth garage to the system.
Babe it looks good. They just have to paint tomorrow and put the lights in and it will be done. I hung up your wake boards for you than you. I also purchased several life jackets and a few fire extinguishers. I Installed them as well as a carbon monoxide and smile detector in the sleeping area. I picked up the new license plate too and installed it. Thank you babe .I have to get back to reading. Love you. Love you too.
We all decided to go so some Christmas and birthday shopping and to eat lunch.
John I am grateful for the gift cards from everyone who sent them here by Fed X. We got to buy stuff for the ranch. I still cannot believe you didn't have couches in the living room. My chair from my office did Okay. I am glad you were able to pull up the blue prints so we were able to buy couches and have them delivered when we get to Italy. I text your parents to thank them along with your sisters and brother. We got the small appliance out the way and more items to decorate the place . I did have couches but donated them to the women's shelter. I knew you would want new ones not leather. Thank you. I got my Christmas shopping done too. We both did Joy. I will leave mine in Sacramento for many. I don't think I will make it for Christmas this year .
We all returned to the mansion with our rentals filled and other items were being sent to others.
