Its been a month since you last interacted with Junghwan. Its not like you never saw him in the university its just that when ever you saw him you would always change your paths.

Its also been a month since you last talked with Jeno. Your heart ached a bit but you ignored it because you wanted Jeno to long for you and your attention just like how you do.

<PRESENT TIME>

Right now you were walking out of the changing room after your dance practice , when suddenly someone grabbed your wrist from behind and pinned you on the nearby wall.

Your eyes widened after seeing who it was. Speak of the devil and here he is. There stood Junghwan smirking down at you. Your heartbeat suddenly rised in fear remebering the past events.

Its been awhile princess. Isn't it ? Hmm. He asked with that stupid smirk of his. Leave my hand. You tried to speak confidently , but still some sense of fear was there because he was still strong and you knew your self-defense techniques won't work on him.

You just hoped someone just anyone would come and save you from this monster.

<AT THE HALLWAYS>

Jeno was walking down the hallways to reach his next class , when suddenly his heartbeat picked up the pace. He knew what it was and this time he wanted to make things right and just followed the feeling where you could be.

You were still struggling to get out of his grip when he was pushed to the side with a great force. You looked to your right to see Jeno with his jaw clenched.

I warned you to stay the fuck away from her , why can't you just get that shit in your pea sized brain ! Jeno yelled making Junghwan's smirk to grow.

She is just so attractive and after that day you can say I am addicted to her. Her soft whimpers and begs were crazy. I would like to do that one more time. He said with a sinister grin.

After hearing this Jeno punched him until he was knocked out. J-jeno ssi stop you will kill him. You softly whimpered. Suddenly Jeno pulled you in his embrace and wrapped his arm tightly around your petite figure.

He didn't know was it the guilt or the soulmate effect which made him do that but you were not complaining. His embrace was extremely comfortable. You snuggled more into it.

After sometime you both pulled away and Jeno placed a soft kiss on your forehead.

Y/n where is your necklace and ring ? Jeno asked. Its at my home. But its not important. You replied. It is important y/n. He said putting emphasis on every word. Why do you care so much. Its not like I am not the only one not wearing it , you are also not wearing your ring. You replied feeling irritated due to the sudden change in his behaviour.

At first he was being soft and now he is back to his cold self. I care about it so much because it has significane in my life. I am wearing my ring and necklace both . I am trying to make things workout between us. Please bear with me. He said softly making you go soft.

He held your wrist and dragged you outside the university and to the parking lot. Where are you taking me Jeno-ssi ? You asked confused at his actions. We are going to your house , so that I can by myself make you wear the ring and the necklace. He replied and made you sit inside his car.

It was a silent ride and you were internally celebrating since you succeded in the mission. Soon you reached your mansion and Jeno again dragged you to your room.

Where are the jewelleries ? He asked making you point at the box were you have kept them. Jeno walked towards your dresser and took the ring and the necklace.

You put your hand forward in his direction asking for the jewellery so that you can wear them but instead he walked behind you and put the necklace around your neck making you blush and butterflies to open a zoo in your stomach.

He softly held your hand and slipped the ring in your ring finger making you slightly smile. Lets go back to the university the break must be over now. He said and moved towards the door to exit your room making you silently follow his actions.

The silence in the car was broken by Jeno himself. From now on if you are in any kind of danger or need anything just call me using our telepathy power and I will be there. He spoke in a soft tone different from his usual cold tone.

Why the sudden change though ? You questioned hesitantly. Its just that I want to be there for you from now on and I want to be a good husband for you , on whom you can be proud of. He answered honestly making you giggle.

You don't need to be perfect Jeno-ssi , I will still appreciate it even if you will just pass a smile to me whenever we bump or meet eachother. You spoke making him feel some type of way.

Was he finally letting his heart experience the foreign emotion which they call Love ? Was she the one who will make him get back to his old self ?

He was sure that after not talking to you he understood you really were soft and a "must protect at all cost" person. He wanted to give his best from now on in protecting you just to make you proud.

You reached the university and as soon as you stepped out of his car you heard the bell ringing indicating that the lunch break was over.

After parking his car , Jeno ran to catch up with your pace. He held your hand and interwined his fingers with yours. You looked up to see his face and make eye contact but he refused and looked straight ahead. You smiled a little and also focused on your path.
