After a little over fifteen hours we finally land in Wyoming. I must say I'm glad because my butt is asleep. My mom says "Ok, well your dad sent a car for us." My mouth drops and I repeat "A car?" We get off the plane and proceed to the baggage pick up and grab our bags then head toward the exit. We look around and see a couple of men with a sign that has our names on it. These guys were huge. I mean they look as though they stepped off a bodybuilding show stage or something. I know men have muscles but geezz....They must both do some insane bodybuilding.

Mrs. Jarvis, the older one says. I am Stephan, the head of security and this is Ethan my son. You must be Alyiah? Stephan asks. Yes I am, I reply. If you'll both follow us we will drive you to the estate. My mother and I look at each other and then follow the two men to a black SUV. Ethan opens the door for us and helps my mother in first then takes my hand. I notice a small smirk at the corner of his mouth but I don't say anything. Thank you, I say. You're welcome Alyiah, he repsonds. They load our luggage into the back our the SUV and then we drive for what seems like forever until we come to this heavy forested area. The SUV stops and jolts me awake geezz..I must have fallen asleep. A silented snicker comes from the front seats, but I ignore it. I look up to see heavy steel gates that open up to reveal a small town hidden away. We proceed up the long drive before stopping at a large brick home with kinda reminds me of an older colonial home. The SUV stops again and Ethan opens the door and offers me his hand. I take it and slide out of the SUV. My mother follows me and Stephan says "Welcome Home" about that time my father opens the door and I sprint toward him full force, but he doesn't budge. Well it's nice to see you too, he says. I squeeze him tight and he feels very different, solid and muscular. We come together in a family hug and I think to myself I never want this to end.

My father's name is Jonathan and until now I didn't know much anything about his family except he had a large family that were very close, loved tradition, and lived in The United States. But there was so much more I didn't know until now. My father guided us inside and I was breathless everything was so beautiful there was a double wide staircase with more stairs leading to second and third floors. I honestly felt like I was in a royal palace somewhere in the middle of Wyoming in the woods.

We were greeted by the head housekeeper Miss Davis. Good Afternoon Sir, Madam, and Miss. May I show you all to your rooms? My father nodded. Miss Davis motioned us to follow her. We proceeded up the staircase and to the left and half way down the hall she stops at a set of double doors. She turns the handle and opens the door and says "Miss this will be your room." Thank you, I reply and I enter the room. There is a light floral wallpaper on the walls with tall woodwork, a fireplace and a canopy bed. Miss Davis says if you open the door by the window it is a bathroom and there is a walk-in closet to your right. "A walk-in closet?" I reply. Yes, Miss. She turns to my mother and says "Madam your room is this way" I follow my family down the hall and up a flight of stairs to the third floor and to the right down to another set of double doors. Miss Davis says Madam this is your room with Sir. She then excuses herself and walks back down the hall. My father asks me if I want to check out my room and I say sure. He excuses himself with mom for a bit, but helps me find my room.

I enter my room and sit on my bed. I see that my luggage had been brought up already so I walk over to it. I unzip my carry-on and take out my travel case. I stand back up and walk to my bathroom and open the door and oh my goodness I say out loud this is three times the size of my old bathroom and then I turn my head and see a garden tub that I bet it could double as a swimming pool. Everything was marble and the metal for the faucet was a bronze color. The tall wood trim was in my bathroom as well. I decide to explore the walk-in closet. I walk to the other door and open it and a light comes on automatically revealing clothes and shoes. I was puzzled because I had not unpacked my bags yet so who's clothes are these. I walk out and shut the door. I decide to head downstairs to find my parents.

I find my parents downstairs in the sitting room. Hey honey, did you explore your room that fast? They ask. I'm not done, but I love the bathroom I could easily live in there I joke. I was exploring my room and looked in the walk-in closet and there is clothes and stuff in there already. I reply. My father reaches out to me and says thats because I had it filled up for you for your birthday. My birthday isn't for a week yet I reply. Happy early 16th birthday he says. I hug him and say so those clothes and stuff are all mine? Yes, honey they are. Ok, I respond I'm going back up to explore more. Hey Alyiah, my father calls out to me. We need to talk later after dinner. I nod then continue upstairs. I arrive at my room and start looking at the items in the closet. There were dresses, leggings, t-shirts, sandals, tennis shoes and athletic clothes as well. I looked at the dresses. I'm not much of a dress person but these were sun dresses and I actually love them. I look deeper in the closet and see some more elegant gowns in my size. I have to admit whoever went shopping for me did a fantastic job. Alyiah!!! I hear my mom call for me. Dinner is ready. I close the door to my closet and head downstairs to the dining room. I reach the dining room and hear my parents talking to someone. I clear my throat and peek around the corner to see Stephen with my parents. My father says we will finish this later. Stephen leaves. I proceed into the dining room and take a seat with my parents. My father takes my hand and says we need to talk. I say "ok". Then my father asks me "Do you know why I didn't come back to Spain?" I shake my head no. Well you know my father passed away right? I nod yes. Well I had to stay here to take my fathers' place. Your fathers' place? I reply. Yes, he was the leader of our people. he replies.
