PROLOGUE:
Aliyah was casually waiting at the bus stop for her bus to go home,she couldn't wait to get home her body was aching and she wanted to ease her muscles in a long, warm shower.
Her bus arrived and she quickly took her seat next to the window. She would watch all the little kids running up to their parents who would pick them up, spin them and give them a sweet kiss on their heads. Her eyes would start stinging so she would slowly look away.
As the bus came to her stop, she quickly scrambled all her belongings and ran to her doorstep. When she entered her 'so called' home she heard the television in the living room..'great! They're home' she thought to herself.
Aliyah tried to sneak past the couch trying to not get noticed, but like always, she failed.'Where do you think you're going sneaking past us like that!?' she flinched hearing her foster mother's angry voice echo around the house, her throat got dry and she couldn't find the words to reply with. 'i-uh-i-i' she didn't even bother trying to answer cause she already knew what was going to come.
Her stepfather stood up from the couch and took slow steps towards her. They were a few centimetres away and she was to scared to look up in his eyes. 'We have no maids here you know..' his voice was very quite but the tone was very serious, which made her even more scared. Before she could reply she felt a sharp pain on her head, she got pushed and her head hit the corner of the table making her head bleed. 'GO AND MAKE US SOMETHING TO EAT YOU USELESS PIECE OF CRAP!' she heard enough and ran to the kitchen. Tears started to blur her vision and she only thought of one thing, one thing that has been in her mind since the very start of her imprisoned life.
"Will I ever be freed?' she whispered.

I know this is a very short chapter but this is JUST the prologue,I kept it short cause I wanted to give you guys an idea of her life.
