Me leaving the classroom wasn't a big deal at all. But in Hawkins High, they always make it as if it's something big. That's what I hate about school.

"What the heck is going on with you running out of the classroom?" Steve asked. "It's all over the school."

"Steve, get out of my room!" I yelled. "You didn't even knock."

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"I'm positive and it wasn't even a big deal, now can you just get out of my room?"

"Nice Metallica poster."

"Get out!" Steve left my room as I laid on the bed on my back and sighed.

Maybe there was something wrong with me. Maybe i'm going crazy over my hatred with Chrissy. It wasn't like last time. It was different.

Last time, I hated how she had friend groups and a boyfriend and now all I care is about how she looks. How she smiles. How she talks. Everything.

"Hey Delilah, we're going to be late," Steve said, peeking his head out of the bedroom door.

"I'm not going to school today."

Steve then sat down on my bed and then sighed. "Seriously, what's wrong with you? And i'm not taking i'm fine as an answer."

"I just... I feel like i'm out of my mind. It's like my hate for Chrissy Cunningham--"

"You hate Chrissy Cunningham?" Steve blurted out. "She's perfect and if she had said no to Jason, I would've asked her out."

"Do you want to listen to me or not?" I exclaimed. Steve gestured me to continue. "My hate for Chrissy isn't the same as last time."

"Different how?"

"Last time, all I care was how popular she was and now it's just everything about her and it drives me crazy." I glanced at Steve who was smirking. "What?"

"Nothing. It seems like you have a--"

"Do not say it."

"Okay..."

"Get off my bed."

"Ookay."

"What the hell are you doing here?" I hissed, opening the window to let Eddie in my bedroom.

"Checking in on you," he replied, falling on my bed.

"You do know there's a thing called front doors?"

"I know that but I reckon that the other Harrington wouldn't let me in."

"Wait, Steve isn't in school?" I asked.

"Nope, he's down there jamming out to Madonna." I snorted. Typical Steve. "Yeah, so, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, I just don't feel good today," I lied.

Eddie pressed his hands against my forehead. "You're not feeling warm."

"I'm not having a fever... it's something else."

"Oh, are you at that time of the month--"

"What the fuck? No!"

"Okay... sorry." Eddie muttered. "Are you sure?"

"Yes!"

Suddenly, someone crashed into my bedroom. It was Robin. Her hair looked more messy than yesterday.

"I'm so sorry, Steve wasn't in school today so I thought maybe I should skip too and I just arrived and I can't find the bathroom," she rambled.

"Um, it's next door," I said as I turned to look at Eddie who looked at me confused.
