"Hey, Robin," I said, sitting down beside her in the hallways.

She looked gloomy and not like Robin. Her badly permed hair still looked the same and was sticking out from the back as she gave me a faint smile. "Hi."

Her arms were wrapped around her legs as she burried her head. "Robin, are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I'm just tired of doing hall duty," she muttered.

A group of girls came out of the classroom, giggling and was heading to the bathroom.

Robin's head perked up as she stared at the girl with orange hair and curls. Her eyeshadows were in a dark shade of blue.

Once the girls left, Robin buried her head again, sighing.

"Hey, you don't seem okay, are those girls picking on you?"

"No... no, it's not that. Those girls will never notice me. Especially Tam..."

"Tam? Who's Tam?" I blurted out.

"That girl with the orange hair."

"What about her? If she's picking on you, just tell me, I can handle it."

Robin sighed and then looked at me, she wasn't crying but her eyes looked sad. "I...I can't stop staring at her. I can't stop trying to ignore her terrible singing." She stopped talking as I noticed her nails sinking into her skin.

"Oh..." I gasped. "You're just like me."

Robin nodded. "You're fine with it, right?"

"Oh, Robin, why wouldn't I be fine with it?" I wrapped my arms around her as she rested on the crook of my neck.

I could hear footsteps in the hallway and it stopped right in front of me and Robin.

I opened my eyes and looked up. Jason and Chrissy. "Um, is she okay?" Jason asked.

Robin sat up straight as I cleared my throat. "Yes, she's fine. Thanks for asking."

"A-are you sure? We're just worried," Chrissy asked.

"Yes, we're sure."

"Okay..." They then walked away, whispering to each other.

Me and Robin looked at each other for awhile before laughing.

"So, how is the 'Chrissy problem' going?" Steve asked, slinging his arm around my shoulder as we were heading to lunch.

"First, get you arm off me," I said.

Steve slowly removed his arm. "Sorry, please continue."

"Yeah, I salvaged it."

"Wait, you did?"

"Yeah, and it kinda improved me and Chrissy's relationship."

"Wow, congratulations," Steve said boredly as I rolled my eyes. "Speaking of the devil..." Chrissy and Jason just walked into the cafeteria, smiling and laughing. I gulped. "Don't worry Jason is jerk."

"I don't think so. Jason seems like a really nice guy," I sighed. I stared at them. "If dating Jason makes her happy, then I guess it's fine."

"Hey! Delilah!" I turned to see Eddie running towards me. "Steve."

"Munson," Steve sighed. "Right, looks like you got company, Delilah, I'll see you after school."

"Yeah, see you after school." Eddie slung his arm over my shoulder.

"Hey! You let him put his arm on your shoulder!" Steve yelled.

"Walk away, Steve! Walk away!" I yelled back, smirking.

Eddie chuckled. "I'm guessing it went well?"

"Yeah. Chrissy and I are friends now."

"Want weed to celebrate?"

"What the hell? You know I'm trying to quit."

"I can't guarantee that'll work," Eddie said, taking a cigarette from his pocket.

"No. I don't want one."

"Just one?"

"No."

"Okay, suit yourself." He placed the cigarette back into his pocket, slightly disappointed.

I turned to look at the cheerleading and basketball table to see Chrissy laughing with her friends. She seemed happy.

"Hey, do you think Jason's a jerk?" I asked.

"Yeah, why'd you ask?"

"I don't know. Chrissy looks so happy with him." I frowned.

"Hey, maybe you should take a little break from this. You've done the best you can do," Eddie told me.

I smiled and turned to him. "Yeah, you're right."

"Delilah, get in the car!" Steve exclaimed, waving at me from his car.

"I'm gonna go take a walk, you know take a breather."

He sighed. "Does this have anything to do with Eddie?"

"What? No!"

"You're not getting any weed from him, are you?"

"I told you, I'm quitting. So there's no chance I'm getting any."

"Okay, if I smell Marijuana on you when you get home, I'm telling mum."

"Mama's boy..." I muttered.

"What was that?"

"Nothing! See you later Stevie!" I rushed towards the woods.

Dry leaves were everywhere as I stomped on them, hearing the crunch underneath my shoes.

Walking home was everything to me. I can get distracted by the littlest thing and take hours to get home.

Which is probably the reason why Steve thinks I'm having a drug deal with Eddie.

Suddenly, I bumped into someone as I heard them gasp. I snapped out of my daydream. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry."

It was Chrissy. "No, no I'm fine."

"Are you sure? I'm pretty sure I scared the shit out of you."

"You did, but I'm fine." I bit my bottom lip in nervousness. "What are you doing here? I thought Steve would pick you up?"

"Yeah, but, I wanted to walk home," I answered.

"Oh... cool." There was an awkward silence as the both of us walked.

"So, you know Steve?"

"Everybody does, I mean they know him for his hair." I rolled my eyes. "I'm actually surprised that he doesn't have a girlfriend."

"Well, I'm not."

"Why?"

"As his sister, imagine dealing with his shit every single day."

"Gosh, is he really that bad?" Chrissy questioned, turning to look at me as her ponytail whipped in the wind.

"Oh yeah. He jams to Madonna everyday. He spends hours hogging the bathroom and he's a mama's boy."

Chrissy laughed. "I have a younger brother too. He's really sweet."

"What if we just swap brothers for a day?"

"Hm, that will be fun even though I don't think I can put up with Steve," she said.

We stopped right outside a mansion-like house. "I guess this is your stop, right?"

Chrissy sighed. She actually sounded disappointed. "Yeah." She paused for a moment. "You know, it's really fun talking to you, freak."

She called me 'freak'. "You too, queen of Hawkins High."

Chrissy giggled. "I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow."

She walked to her door. "Bye Delilah."

I smiled. "Bye Chrissy."
