"Will, I just wanted to let you know that me and leafy are gonna be streaming in the kitchen in about an hour in case you didn't want to be on camera." Celia gently smiled as she poked her head into the dark room that the boy was residing in."Leafy?" He questioned, a smile forming at the mention of his friends nickname. Celia grinned before disappearing from his door and returning to kick his door down with an unimpressed Alaeia in tow. Celia pointed at the unamused girl and repeating the nickname before pushing her back towards the kitchen. He was sure he could hear her say something about being dragged but she was too far away to be fully heard.

"I dibs the crust when it's cooked!"
"You do realise the crust is the same as the rest of the apple crumble, right?"
"Yeah, but it tastes better because there's less of it."
"If you say so, CeCe."~~~~~~~~~~~
About three and a half hours later, Will walked into the kitchen after assuming the girls had finished their stream. He was met with his roommate sitting at the table on her phone with a freshly made apple crumble and a few cupcakes whilst her friend lay on the floor, her head resting on a pillow from the couch. Will took notice of this and checked her pulse gently, why was Celia not worried?
"Hey, is she okay?" He eventually asked warily, carefully stepping over the girl and walking towards Celia. Celia looked up from her phone and nodded, gesturing to the seat next to her as Will sat down.
"She has mild Narcolepsy, she falls asleep randomly and the attacks could last as little as 3 minutes to as long as an hour. As long as she's protected from any possible injury she'll be fine." She smiled, Will however looked surprised. He hadn't heard much about Narcolepsy before and was intrigued by it, so therefore he decided to ask more about everything for the period of time Alaeia was still asleep.

The 22 year old girl awoke with the coldness of the evening air settling into the flat, though this time it wasn't the usual homey atmosphere her own home had adapted. Her head was rested atop a comfy pillow and as she looked down slightly, she recognised the patterned marble tiles beneath her. The grogginess still hadn't disappeared, and Alaeia knew that if she got up now, her head would spin like one of those tea cups at an amusement park.
Instead, she opted for a slightly more comfortable position as she slowly sat up and arranging for the pillow to be neatly placed above her crossed legs, and laying her head in her hands. The girl just sat cross-legged on the tiled floor with her head rested in her hands and her eyes closed, pressed firmly but comfortably into her palms.
As she sat, time stood still and the same question began repeating in her mind ;
Surely a few minutes would of passed by now, right?A light tap on her shoulder pulled her out of the trance as she looked up to see a curly haired brunette kneeling in front of her, a gentle smile traced on his features with a kind glint in his brown eyes.
"You okay? You've been out for a while." He carefully whispered, a gentle tone matching his smile. Alaeia would've replied a clear 'yes' but all that came out was an almost inaudible unsure groan. The boy chuckled quietly before standing up and offering out his left hand to help her up, to which she gratefully accepted. A small wobble as she caught her balance didn't go unnoticed by Wilbur, and so he gently rested his arm around her waist for support after asking if she was okay with him touching her.
The two carefully made their way towards the living room before sitting on the couch, except now Will had gradually loosened his grip as they walked and eventually resulted in not holding her at all as she sat down.
The two sat quietly for half an hour as they watched the tv, eventually Will began cautiously glancing at the girl every few minutes.
"I'm sorry...y'know, for falling asleep. I know I can't control it but I feel like it's better to apologise sometimes." Alaeia mumbled, earning a confused look from the boy she was so deeply intrigued by. He shook his head before smiling, he hadn't needed to say anything more.

Okay, I like this chapter a bit more than I did when I wrote it, but it's alright seeing as this is just a filler for the next one. I needed a bit of context for the next chapter and decided to add some in here, even though I'm certain this chapter doesn't make sense at all. I still find the LeafBur moment kinda cute tbh. Also, I'm in need of ship names please.
Thank you for reading, I love you <3
