Chapter 1 : Otto Apocalypse

Inside a building, two male figures are sitting in front of each other, with a wooden table dividing the both of them; the first man wears black-colored glasses, while the other one's not.

After taking a deep breath, the figure that wore glasses inside a closed room began to speak. "What is your full name?"

"It's Otto Apocalypse."  answered the other figure.

"Your sex?."

"Male."

Letting out a nod of confirmation, the glasses-wearing figure continued. "Where is your hometown?"

"It's in Europe."

With a humm, the other figure flipped the clip of paper he was holding for a while before continuing to ask. "Hooo. . . Before applying to be an actor, what else have you been doing so far?"

"I have been a priest in my hometown for a few years."

Xiao Chen looked at the file in his hand and then glanced up at the young man with long golden hair and a pair of green agate-like eyes sitting in a wooden chair in front of him.

If he were 100% sure that the world he had been reincarnated into wasn't the Honkai Impact universe, he would have thought that Schicksal Overseer Otto was the one sitting in front of and had somehow found him.

However, he knows for a certainty that it's impossible.

Even if the world he was reincarnated into was the Main timeline of Honkai Impact 3 universe and not one of the other Alternate Realities, why would someone as important as Otto search for someone like him, a mere movie director?

Moreover, he had personally gone to the various spot known for their Honkai infection, such as Siberia, to confirm whether there was any sign of Honkai.

After wasting months of his life wandering around and asking the local civilians, he is 100% sure that the world he lives in now has no trace of the Honkai.

Although he did indeed find an orphanage that had children that looked like Bronya and Seele in there, but after checking their bodies and finding no sign of Honkai energy on them, he was sure that they were just normal children.

But because of that, he was sure that he was living in an alternate version of Honkai Impact 3 universe main timeline since the thing that was similar to the game was not just the children's name, but their hair color, the body figures, their family tree, and even their personality is the same.

The only difference is the event that happened in the world because the Honkai is not invading the world.

In another world, the universe that Xiao Chen had been reincarnated into was a 'What if' version of Honkai impact; to be more specific, it's a what-if the Honkai never appeared in the normal world in the first place.

While thinking so, Xiao Chen peeks at the blonde man in front of him, 'it seems the man in front of me is either this alternate world Otto Apocalypse or his descendant,' he thought to himself.

"Why do you looking for someone related to you quitting being a priest?"

The said person is the Third Herrscher of this era; after the Herrscher of Reason and Herrscher of Void, the Herrscherr of Binding finally appeared as the third apostle of the Will of Honkai.

Just like the Eleventh Herrscher in the previous era, the Herrscher of Binding in this generation is also able to use the power to summon an invisible gargantuan-sized domain, those who reside inside the field will find themselves stripped from their Honkai power, and all other forms of energy also affected.
