Hey guys! This is indeed my first story. I hope you liked it and I apologize in advance for its possible crappiness. I love writing, and this is the first time i've ever shared it with anyone.. This is a Twilight fanfiction, because with my schedule, a fanfiction is perfect for me right now. Anywhoo. Let me know your thoughts! The dedication is to knightsrachel, for being the author of the first book I ever read, and some of the influence for my writing style. You should read her books if you haven't! I aspire to be as amazing a writer as she is. (Picture to the right is of Macey. Mandy Moore is perfect for her, except that Macey has blue eyes.)
On with the reading! >>>

“You have one week, Miss Stone.” the social worker across from me states blandly.
“Then we are transferring you to live with your cousin and the Quileute tribe in Washington.”
I sit back, stunned. How could she leave me like this?
“Miss Stone, I-”
I cut her off “Yeah, you're sorry, I got that. Why only a week? That's hardly enough time to pack all of my stuff! Let alone move cross country to live with some supposed cousin that I don't even know!”
All I can think of is how unfair this is. Mom wasn't supposed to do this, she was getting better, she said so herself. We were finally getting to know each other! Where did she even get a gun to use in the first place?
The social worker, Emily, I think, snaps me out of my thoughts
“Miss Stone, I am very sorry for your loss. In your case, the board has allowed an extra 4 days to get everything taken care of. Seeing that you did not live with your mother, her belongings will be stored, and the house given over to the bank. Your car will be sent to the airport and will be waiting for you when you arrive. I will meet you next Wednesday, 8 a.m. sharp at the airport to give you your ticket.”
I nod stiffly, telling her thanks as I leave. At least I won't have to save to buy another car.
