Love for the Demon

chapter six:

I see Seth go limb and next thing I know is, Dad is in front of me, hissing and biting towards me but he can't seem to get to me. I hear something shatter and...~
I woke up to the sound of a... rooster? Then I realize that the sound is coming from Seth's phone. I get off the floor and reach for his phone and Mom opens the door.
"Breakfast time!!" I get up and head downstairs. Everyone had something different. Gabe: burnt biscuits and sausage, Trey: strawberries and apples, Mom, Seth and I had pancakes.
"What's the special occasion, Mom?" Gabe asks, giving her a sly brow.
"Well, I have my daughter back! Doesn't that call for celebration?!" She says a little childish.
"Do we get to stay home?" Seth asks with his hands clasped together.
"No! You can't miss school!" She stabs her fork in to the table. Gulp.
"Mom? I kinda need clothes." I say as quiet as possible. She then drags me to a purple and black room (much like Raven Queen's half of her room) and grabs a black T-shirt and dark blue skinny jeans. She also tosses me a pair of black converse.
"You can have this room if you want. The last girl who lived here moved back with her family in the next town over. She left a lot of her clothes here and I figured they would fit you." She says sitting down on the bed. She stares into space for a minute and sighs.
"I'm glad have you back, sweetie. Well, get dressed and ready, cuz its your first full day of school. We'll go shopping Saturday, which I think is tomorrow." She leaves and shuts the door. I put the clothes and shoes on. I find a brush on bedside table and put my hair up in a low ponytail. I part my bangs so that they're on the side of my face. I head towards the vanity and rummage through the drawers and find a ton of makeup. Geez, This girl must have a rich family, cuz who would leave all this useful stuff? I find some eyeliner and and yellow eye shadow, I know it'll blend with my human disguise. I put on a thin layer of liner and light eye shadow.
I head downstairs and all the boys look up and I see Gabe and Trey gawking at me. Seth saw them and rolled up his magazine. I steal it from him and hit both the boys on the head.
"Don't let the flies in." I say as they rub their heads.
"You need a jacket, Sophie." Gabe says grinning as Trey grabs one off a hook by the front door. The jacket is a bit big for me but at least I'm warm. The boys got to the door before me and held it open. I walk through wondering why they are acting like this. Oh well, I just have to make it through today and I'm good.

This was basically a filler, I'll try to have more happen in the next chapter. Do you guys want to know what the characters look like? I just need a few votes and I can get my friend, who is just amazballs at drawing, to draw them.
